February Crop 7pm - Matchbook Style Mini Album
Hey everyone! Happy Valentines Crop!
Here is a cute and even better- FAST - mini album you can make with left over PP and one or two sheets of plain cardstock. It's a large "matchbook" that you can either fill with photos or love notes or anything really!
Supplies:
1 - 4"x12" piece of Patterned Paper (I used double sided PP to make it super easy.)
5-10 pieces of 5"x3.5" pieces of paper or photos (if you are using photos or cardstock you use fewer since you will be stapling them together)
A stapler
Stuff to decorate the front cover.
Directions:
Step 1 - Trim a sheet of PP to 4x12.
Step 2 - Score it at 5.5" and at 11"
Step 3 - Fold the sheet at the 5.5" mark and fold up the end piece to make the bottom flap for the matchbook
Step 4 - Decorate your inside pages. Its MUCH easier to decorate them before you staple them into the album. Keep in mind that the bottom inch will be covered up.
Step 5 - Stack your 5"x3.5" pieces of paper into the bottom flap and staple it in place. I used 10 pieces of really thick cardstock and had trouble getting a staple to go through it so I recommend either using thinner paper or actual photos.
I also decorate the flap so you don't see the staple
Step 6 - Trim .5" (half an inch) off the front cover so you can easily tuck it into the flap.
Step 7 - Decorate your front cover
I hope you enjoy this quick and easy mini.
Points are as follows: 3 pts for each completed mini page you make and 5 points for the cover!
