What did you wind up doing for Valentine's Day?

Ugh...do I have to tell??!

Spent the day in the er w/DD. She passed out at the grocery store & her chin & head hit the concrete floor pretty hard. Bone in chin sliced her chin up bad and was sticking out. 4 stitches. No fracture in skull thankfully. Drs think her blood pressure dropped quickly. All bloodwork/chemistry came back normal. Off to a neuro to see if something else is going on. Booooo.... She is in good spirits and back to her old self. Unfortunately, I need to get the vision and sounds out of my head. I think I've cried more than I can count over the last day. I'll be better once the image/sounds of the incident leaves my head...

She's 6. And quite the trooper... I've never seen ANYONE be so strong going through what she did. Unreal. Thankful she's ok.

I spent the day sick in bed.

I guess my V-day was pretty good. We are all in one piece, at least!

Quiet V-day for us. Scott and I were able to sneak in a quiet pasta dinner together at home while the girls were busy. No gifts, no hoopla.

I hope everyone who had mis-hap or illness yesterday are all feeling better today!

Wow! I guess I'm glad our day was uneventful! Tom and I celebrated early by going to the big SCA Val Day event on Saturday so yesterday was just a normal day. Kim got us cupcakes, though.

I spent the day at work. Fortunately uneventful. Kristine, hope everything checks out ok with your daughter. Hope everyone else gets to feeling better.

Home sick in bed. DH brought me peanut bread in bed and wished me a happy vday! lol

I'm so sorry you had to go through that as a mother and that your daughter had to go through it. How scary for her. I'm glad you said she is a little trooper and that she seems to be doing OK. I hope they find a simple answer for you so that neither of you have to go through that again.
