I have a few things to get done today before I can play --- a mailing to the members of my Scouting units, breakfast with Dad, visit with Mom, and a couple of other things...

Hi gals! I just got the kiddos off to school and I have a few hours before I have to head to work for the day. FUN stuff with a bug sale this weekend AND double discount!!! YAY!

Good morning! I woke up with a headache but, thank goodness, it is subsiding with ibuprofen and coffee. No big plans for today. Maybe I can move some boxes and baskets from the porch to Julia's room and work on making it look like Christmas at my house.

Im at work and treated myself to a vanilla scone and a skinny cinnamon dolce latte.

I may or may not have a holiday party for our biggest client tonight so I have a packed a dress to change into just in case. I even bought a super cute purse that Im in love with since I didn't have one in gray.

Hopefully today will be nice and slow at work.

I'm going to address some Christmas cards today and make some Christmas candy!

A busy day for me. I'm making Christmas Cookies with Mitchell. Yesterday morning I wasn't going to do them. I've had a slight switch in plans today, so I decided last night to make them. Plus, it's hard to say no to Mitchell and his smiling face when he asks if he can make Christmas Cookies. The only reason I wasn't making them was because I didn't want them around the house to eat, but I now have a plan.

Morning! I'm at work already (bored) but luckily, I took my last 1/2 day of vacation so I'm leaving at noon. Hoping, hoping, hoping to be able to find something for my office Christmas party that's next Friday. It's at a snooty place and everyone dresses to the nines, so I have to try to find something that a.) I can have it be multipurpose and hopefully be able to wear it again to work, and b.) and not have it be all sequiny and crazy. So we'll have to see how that goes. Tonight though, I'm hoping to maybe have a few minutes to work on my grandparent's album and then alter some gift card tins, and then tomorrow is the annual Johnson Family Hoopla to go to (if it's not canceled because we're supposed to be getting a foot and a half of snow!), and Sunday is the Nutcracker!

I have been here for a while this morning, but this is the first time I am actually checking in!

Today I need to take my last online exam. Then I need to go to school and do some photo lab work. Once I'm home I need to send my essay into the online English lab for editing. THEN the rest of the weekend is mine!!!

But really, I'm just procrastinating.

I have been moving since 4 AM. I am hosting our office holiday party on two days notice. Starts at 4 today. I am happy to say that my house is ready & all I need to do is get myself ready. Think I will check out the challenges if I have a few extra minutes.

I'm up, yes I realize its noon here. but I went to bed at 5am.
And no, I dont usually go to bed at 5am but the boy is home today, and we slept in.

Today on my plans:

Finish the Christmas Tree.
Scrap.
Play Rock Band?

That sounds like an ideal day!

My laptop arrived just now so Im thinking Im ditching early to go home and play!! I think 3pm sounds good.

I just spent some time picking up and putting away all the crap that had accumulated in my living/dining room. After a little break I plan to carry what I can from the front porch to Julia's room then dust and vacuum. Then I can get crafty without feeling like I should be doing other things!

Jeff and I went to lunch, and then I went to my LSS's going out of buisness sale
So sad. The girl in the store looked so so sad:(

But everything was 40% off, and I got a new canvas album, a heat gun, and a bunch of overlays and rub-ons, so all is not bad.

lss have a rough time staying open when they are good. I need to tell you about the two near me.

1. opened fall 2009, hasn't gotten anything new since she opened.

2. just opened, when asked about adhesive she might carry, said she had ordered glue sticks.

I'm just checking in now. No time at work today, and later I'll be at my ILs where they don't have wireless, and I have to go into their bedroom to use their computer. Sometime I'll have to tell you all how crazy my life is right now! Maybe after it settles down......

The house has been returned to some semblance of order (if you don't open any bedroom doors! ) and I am clean and fresh. Now I need to get going on those Christmas cards before I fall asleep!

I had an exhausting day at work today...so, so busy and SO understaffed!!! It is annoying! After work, I shopping a little for stuff for Ben's birthday party and then picked up Taco Bell for dinner. Then went back to work to shop a little more. We have the cutest little red stockings in our dollar bins and I am going to fill those and use them for the gift bags for Ben's party. I also bought the 5 pack of mini gingerbread house kits since that is the main thing the kiddos will be working on.

I have to get the house decorated since Monday is my Girl Scout Christmas party. Need to get sewing and now I also got suckered into planning Jackie's class holiday party for next week. Seriously, I need a vacation!!!
