We drive to the cabin today. We are still in Atlanta in our hotel this morning.

I'm working working working but strategically parked my car so that I can dip out of work early without anyone seeing me.... shhh!

Then it's off to meet my favorite {Laura} and drive up to the cabin!! It's supposed to be a glorious weekend, and Mara and I (along with whomever else will join us) are going to walk our 5K along the mountain roads for practice.

I'm enjoying a Chik fil A yogurt parfait before I head into meetings this morning and into teaching teaching teaching all my kiddos today.

Morning everyone!

Today I have some house cleaning to get done becuse I have been outside gardening for the pasat 3 days and have neglected my house But on the bright side, my garden/walkway looks wonderful! I woke up this morning to make coffee and took a peek out my front window and say my daffodills have bloomed over night! They must like it here

Sooo after a bit of cleaning I will be making either my glorious, kick you in the face tasty Black Moons ooor my homemade cupcakes for the Mardi Gras themed crop Im going to tomorrow!

As well as baking I need to pack stuff to work on. I love crops because I can talk to everyone and have a good time, but I hate not having access to EVERYTHING of mine...

Today is a big day...
We are hosting our 2nd annual Daddy-Daughter dance. My daughter is finally a student and can attend! I pick up her wrist corsage this afternoon. It's going to be sooo pretty! Daddy will be taking Katie out to dinner before going to the dance. I will be helping set up at 3 and assisting throughout the event and will be taking candid pics during too. My DS will be at his friend's house all night. Should be home by 10.
Busy day!!!

Oh my goodness so exciting !!!I LOVED my Daddy Daughter dance when I was little!!! (Ours was hoedown themed hahaha) I hope that she has an amazing time! Its one of my fondest memories from when I was little. Daddys make the best dates! (awww Im gonna go call my dad right now!)

hi girls, i made it home from dc. been on the phone since 8am. one call left. wish i could not pay attention but oh, well. dinner out tonight with the family. which means i have to get out of these sweats and maybe brush my hair.

Hi!!! Nothing too exciting here Just work, work, working (on boring stuff!). But during lunch, I went and put the deposit down on our girls Florida vacay! We are going, but it's going to be a short trip again sadly My aunt and cousin, who are being difficult after complaining about wanting to go longer last year, only want to go 4 days this year. Grrr.... But, it's out of Wisconsin, so I'm still thrilled And this weekend, my mom and dad are coming home (my dad travels for the boilermakers and my mom goes with), so my mom and I are hoping to go shopping (if it doesn't snow!!)
