Note to self: Dont go to bed at 7:30pm expecting to sleep through the night. I was ready to get up at 2:30 am

Sadly our streak of AMAZING weather is taking little break today.
Although it is still crazy humid and hot out already! It will be 80+ today with rain so I expect a tropical like storm.


Not even 6am yet and Im already enjoying coffee, have a load of laundry in the wash and planning a few LOs to work on in my crafty room as well as a few jobs to call about!

Have to make the March sunshine cards today to deliver tomorrow since it's the LAST DAY of the month! Where did Feb go so fast?
And what have I accomplished?
I decided this year not to give something up for Lent but to add more daily exercise. The whole point is something hard that makes us think, right?
Anyone celebrating Mardi Gras next week? I usually bake a king's cake...

I absolutely celebrated Mardi Gras !

Sat my husband and I went to a MG parade and then to the beach.
We will be going out for a huge party put on by the city on Fat Tuesday.

j/k but I am super jealous that you can hang out at the beach this time of year. I have to wait 'til May for the icebergs in Lake Michigan to melt.

Kim and I have no obligations today so we are taking the girls to the Childrens' Museum.

We had a gorgeous weekend here in Atlanta too. It was 76 at my house yesterday. Its supposed to be gray and stormy later.

Im at work as usual, trying to rush something out the door that could have been done 3 weeks ago.

Ill be heading to the Y tonight so I can get my run in in-spite of the storm they are predicting.

Yep... them clouds are moving in over the ATL, so it's a treadmill-run kind of day. My goal: 2.5 miles today, 3.2 on Wednesday, 2-2.5 on Thursday, 3.2 on Friday, and 3 on Saturday. Y'all keep me accountable!

Just hanging with the kiddos today -- doing my thang. I plan to be super positive and LOVE my job this week, come he!! or high water!

Tess and I are now officially registered for my first 5K!!!!!!


My goal this week is to run every day. (Ive been doing every other). Today Im going to redo week 4 of the program and try to ramp up so that by race day I can hopefully run 20 minutes at a stretch (which is half of where I had hoped to be). I am really really hoping I can do the race in around 45 minutes.

So we aren't taking the girls to the Childrens' Museum after all. Keira, Julia, and I all took a nap and are just now finishing lunch so we've decided to stay home and be slugs.

mmmm.... i love being a slug! sounds so good right now!

Heading home to run my a$$ off and then to my parents' for dinner.

I am home early from work for several reasons...

I stopped by Fresh Market and grabbed some corn and shrimp and stuff for a spinach and strawberry salad. Looking forward to homemade REAL food since I eat out way too much.

Now if my stomach would just calm down!

I am doing spinach, strawberries, pecans and raspberry walnut vinaigrette.

You all are making me hungry! We are having burgers on the grill tonight because is warmed up to 40 degrees today.

Im starving and I still have an hour of work and then a trip to the gym before I can even think of eating.

OMG... that for US is not grilling weather! lol Today it was high 60's/low 70's and now a windy storm is blowing in. I loved both
