A rainy one here. DS gets his braces off first thing, a month early. Had to put all my scrappy stuff away for the visit...

I decided to take a "mental health" day today, so I am not heading into work & have the house to myself.

How awesome for your DS Alecia! I always wanted braces when I was little... weird right?

And Katie I think that you more than deserve a "mental health" day. I actually laughed when I read that because my father called them that when we would miss the bus for school and he couldnt/didnt want to drive us in. " thats okay kid just take a mental health day with me and the dog" ...score!


Well on my end... My DH and I survived the night with all the awful weather. I heard that there was another death in my town in addition to that poor little girl who got struck by lightning. God bless them!

Another day of work. My boss gave me loads of praise yesterday on what a great job Im doing so that made me feel awesome. Hes bumping me up to full time starting Monday so yay!

Morning everyone! It is pea-soupy today again. Blah! My youngest is home with a virus, I have a Go Green meeting at her school, conferences for middle kid and uniform try on stuff tonight. I need SCRAPPY time!

Blah I hate rain Alecia! Not to rub it in but the weather looks great today............BUT I'm working at my LSS today so I won't get to enjoy iy anyway.

Sara - I'm glad you guys are safe! And way to go at work!!!!

Awwwwhope your kids feel batter soon ScrapHappy..........I wanna scrap today too! I just got loads of new paper and I matched a bunch to pics yesterday! I love when the pp looks like it was designed for aspecific pic! Hopefully I get some time after the kiddos go to bed tonight1

Alecia-A big congrats to your DS ! I remember when I got my braces taken off. Such a happy day!

I'm waiting on two scrappy packages so I'm not planning on scrapping until I get my new goodies. I'm off to the library to check out some of the books that were recommended in the reading thread. It will be great to start reading again. Have a great day Ladies!

Today is my DDs first day back to school since Friday. She's had strep and fever that wouldn't quit! Fever broke yesterday and now she just has a nasty cough. Medicated and off to school! Have to head to po to mail some cards for a swap and get on the St. Patrick's cards for Stepmom... Enjoy your day ladies!!

Morning everyone!

Im taking a mental health/sick day today too. I could have gone in but just couldn't make myself.

I am going to stay home and putter around my studio and see if inspiration strikes. If not I can always do a Criminal Minds marathon. lol

I think today is PERFECT Mental Health Day!! I guess I took a Mental Health Morning... I stayed in bed until 10:30. No idea what's wrong with me lately, but I swear, I could sleep 24/7!!!!

It's been rainy and nasty here for DAYS. Flood warnings all over the place b/c the river is about to crest. AND, tonight it's supposed to start snowing like mad. Last I hear, we were expecting up to 8 inches of snow between tonight and tomorrow. Sooooo ready for Spring!!!! I'm expecting that my kids won't have school tomorrow... trying to mentally prepare myself for that NOW! lol

Cooking a big lunch for the 'rents. Too rainy to take them out much.
My son's smile looks perfect now!!

My mental health day is working out fabulously! I just finished two layouts & a card. That is the most I have gotten done in forever.
Made some eggless chocolate chip cookie bars (didn't have any eggs) for the girlies when they come off the bus. 1/2 day for them today & Lily has 2 friends coming over.
At some point I need to shower because I have Lil's parent/teacher conference at 3.

That sounds like a great way to spend a mental health day! And the chocolate chip bars sound yummy!

I got some scrapping stuff done too! Ive had a bunch of layouts that have needed just a little bit of work to finish them off so I sat down and have been working through them. Im feeling better but not up to being super creative so this has been perfect for me today. Ive finished up 5 layouts and created a 6th from scratch.

I wish I was scrapping! I haven't sat down at my table in weeks! Thank goodness for that crop at A's last Friday.

The sun peeked out today, but I was inside most of the time. The boys actually played outside after school today. I think spring might actually be coming!

Right now I'm in class - the last of the term. Yay! Then I get three weeks off until I start again. Gotta love free wireless during class, though! lol

I weeded through my doll stuff today and took pics of some things to sell then my SIL stopped over to close out her Thirty-one catalog party so, even though I stayed in my jammies all day, I did get a couple of things accomplished!

i had tacos at mom's house.
thinking of drugging myself to sleep. can't decide. lol
