Saturday...

In the park. I wish it was the fourth of July!
(then there wouldn't be any snow!)

What is your weather like today? It's 32F and foggy here this morning.

21 degrees and snowing.

We got about 4-5 inches of snow yesterday but I don't think we're supposed to get much more today.

It's grey and snow is predicted for tonight! We're supposed to be going out for dinner with ds1 and his girlfriend, so I'm hoping the snow holds off until after midnight or never!

we're under a winter weather warning for 10 inches of snow through midnight tonite
so far we've had about 6 inches of snow .. along with some freezing rain
right now it's coming down so hard I can barely see the house across the street!

and I'm staying inside nice and cozy working on Christmas cards!

Its cold but rather nice here today!

Now I want to watch Barefoot in the Park... lol

I went out for pancakes. Now doing some forum admin stuff. Then hope to scrap. Fun dinner out with coworkers and spouses tonight at 8.

Todd tried to get to his basketball game and got stuck at the end of our street, a neighbor had to help him out

I'm still in my jammies cuz I was gettin' crafty. :giggle: I need to hurry up and get dressed before Tom gets home because he wants to "go do something" tonight. We'll probably shop for Kacie's Christmas gifts.

I'm glad you're family is safe with you, too, Sara! I was thinking of you guys when I heard about all that snow you were getting up there!

It's 37 and raining today here. Mason was hoping to take his birthday party guests sledding in the backyard tonight, but it doesn't look like that's going to happen now.

I have no clue how much snow we have, but now the wind has picked up and it's a blizzard .. so glad I didn't have to go anywhere today

Yikes! Can you please keep the snow on your side of Lake Michigan?!? I am still not ready for winter. When Kacie gets home her and I are going to go do some Christmas shopping. I'm not sure what all I am getting though. I thought I had ideas for people, but I still don't know. The only person that I do know what I want to get them is Kacie and she will be with me!

::Waving::: Hi everyone. It's cold here, but not as cold as it's going to be, apparently.

I went to brunch with my sweetie and then we did some shopping. I got a great deal on a $100 pair of shoes that were marked down to $35 and also found some holiday stuff on sale at Hobby Lobby for my new office. If only I could wear Doc Martens to work, I'd be all set, LOL.

I have had what I call a "feel good" day. Today my Scouts, along with allot of other Scouts and Scouters, helped the Salvation Army with a huge food drive.

I had the kids in my troops at the drop-off location, where they worked their butts off for four hours (some longer) unloading cars and trucks or emptying and sorting the food donations.

Afterwards we all went out to lunch. Now I am exhausted.

I love great deals on shoes Laura! Glad you found such a good deal. And how exciting to be able to decorate your new office!

Leslie, those kind of days are the best. Even when you're tired out at the end, it's a good tired after a day spent helping others. And I think it's great that the Scouts are learning how important it is to help those in need.

I'm about to start making dinner. We're having wet burrittos for dinner tonight. Then I think I will finally get into the shower and get dressed. It's only 5:30, why would I have dressed for the day?!?

in our case, we are trying to teach some of them to give back, since they are recipients of the food boxes that the Salvation Army is putting together.

I know you don't want the snow to come to Michigan, but it is supposed to start sometime soon on my side. Have you seen anything on yours yet?

I have been just doing online stuff for the last few hours! Ugh... i want to go play.

Does wet just mean sauce on top? I heard your dad say something similar and that is not a phrase I am used to using
