Totally Tuesday 3/15

Hello Soupers! The alarm clock rang much too early this morning (or at least it felt that way). Off to work in 15 minutes, having lunch with my Mom, then talent show rehearsal for Lily & her friends at 4.

Good morning!
I have Keira this afternoon since her other grandma, who usually has her on Tues. & Thurs., is in the hospital. I'm thinking I'll take her to the Childrens' Museum.

My girls are sick again so I'm planning on trying to get them to rest today.

My Avery is home sick today. Icky cold/cough. I'm hoping that a day on the couch will help so that we can avoid going to the doctor. I'm so tired of the doctor's office this winter!!!!

I took the day "off" yesterday to spend some time with Nick, who ended up having the day off... so today, I need to buckle down and get some work done! I'm still not used to this time change business, ughhhh. We're all dragging around my house this week!

I have to go to work at my LSS today.....
PU kids after school
Drop off Volley Ball app for my middle DD at the YMCA
Go to mall and pu shoes I ordered and to Claires so DD can spend her shopping card
Out to eat for dinner
Student LED conferences at school

That will exhaust me, lol!

my DH was up sick allllllllllllllllllll night and so I had to cancel my swim class but I'm still going to go work out
I'm starting to get to the point where I'm excited to work out
I might try Zumba today KIM-did you try it, how did you like it?

Good Morning! Today I am babysitting, so that means I've been up since 5:15am. That is not a time I will ever learn to appreciate. But, Julia and I did come back after getting the girls off to school and take a nap.

Now I am trying to finish writing a paper that is due tonight. I procrastinated and started it late last night, so I have a lot to get done still.

Sara, I did Zumba last night and loved it! I love to dance though, so it was fun. I would suggest trying it. I think having a class with a set time will help keep me accountable too. I'm thinking I might take the girls and Julia up to the track at the high school today so they can ride their bikes and I can "wog" (Mara, I love that word!) Then we can go pick up their big sister from the middle school that is right around the corner.

Kim Im so glad you loved Zumba! It really is the only exercise where I actually smile for most of the hour. And it burns a TON of calories (~600 per hour) if you do all the hip swiveling.

Sara- Im so happy you are loving working out. And so jealous. Other than Zumba I don't actually enjoy it which makes it too easy for me to slack off.


I too do better when I have a class that I go to. Somehow I feel more accountable.

My hubby is home again today. We had a storm here the other night that screwed up something at work... so he's been on hold the last two days. Should go back tomorrow, thank goodness. I love him, but too much togetherness is... too much! hahahaha!

Poor Avery is zonked out on the couch. I know she feels miserable today, but I really think she just has a bad cold, so I'm not hauling her to the doctor yet. Hopefully just resting today will help some!!!

Rainy day here today... makin' the donuts at work.

Hoping to get a dreadmill run in when I get home from work. Having my MIL here to make dinner is such a blessing -- one less thing for me to have to worry about around the house.

DH's birthday is this weekend, so I'm working on getting his presents together and putting together a menu for his bday dinner. Steaks, potatoes, roasted veggies... mmmmm... hungry.

All this Zumba talk is making me jealous. I need to figure out how to work it into my budget and schedule. I love it!

Just popping in during a quick coffee break at work. I had to work thru lunch. Crazy day.

I want to start walking outside but the weather has been crazy weird!

Sorry your feet hurt but it is a fab work out I totally had to invest ina good pair of workout shoes when I started doing Zumba to keep my knees from collapsing so I totally feel ya!

Keira and I are back from the Childrens' Museum. An hour-and-a-half of that was enough of a workout for me!

Sara, glad you enjoyed Zumba. I kind of forgot about your foot pain though. All that jumping around on a sore foot has got to be rough!

I had a rough afternoon... something at work and then DH acting all negative (it was not a big deal, just bad timing and lack of tact on his part). So I was/am feeling crabby and moody. but some mashed potatoes and starbucks ice cream helped some

Lily & her friends came up with the cutest dance routine for their talent show act. Then Lil came home all achey and fevered. She fell asleep on the couch at 6:30.

Been a long dang day.... dh and his kidney stone, and it's his birthday, too. Kind of sucked the joy out of the celebration plans, to say the least.
Now he's trying his best to pick a fight b/c he feels bad ...
I'm just laying low. Wish I could scrap some!
