hey my thursday is just ending but here trying to start scrapping

Morning!
It is another day of working at home. Lily spiked a high fever again last night so it looks like I will be trying to get her into her doctor to be tested for the flu.

Oh no Katie! I hope Lily doesn't have the flu!

Last day on campus for me today -- tomorrow I work from the county offices. So, it feels like Friday to me!!!

Today is babysitting then school but I really just want to go home and work on my project I started last night!

Good morning! I'm on the ereader since Kacie is hogging the computer again. I have to leave in half an hour to get my nails done.

I'm hoping to sneak in some crafty time today. My copy of Alpha by Rachel Vincent came in the mail yesterday and I'm half way through and would really like to finish the book today. I ordered my girls some St. Patrick's Day chocolate covered strawberries from Shari's Berries so I'm really looking forward to the excitement that box will bring. I hope everyone has a great day!

Well I'm supposed to meet a friend for lunch today but Emilee had shots last night and feels warm this morning and is super cranky so I'm not sure if she's just being a bear or not feeling well....we'll see in a bit.She is one TOUGH nut.......2 of my older ones cried a bit and she got 4 and laughed during the whole ordeal, lol!

So hopefully I get to scrap today, I need to run to walmart but not sure if I'm gonna.....

Im at work and decked out all in green. Not that there is a drop of Irish in me. When you are a redhead though its just sort of expected.

I am going to get more scrapping in tonight hopefully and maybe something festive for dinner.

I devoured Alpha when it first came out. Loved most of it, hated the end. Was mostly sad to see the series end, though!!!!

Katie, I hope poor Lil is feeling better soon!!

I have to take Damon to the dentist this afternoon... I think part of a filling broke off the other day. He told me his tooth broke, but I looked and I think it's a cavity that came out. Of course he was eating some kind of "gummy" snack when this happened. Duh. lolol


And, I think I'm also getting a new car today! weeeeee! It's nothing fancy, but still exciting to have two cars again. I won't know what to do with my newfound freedom!

Nothing super exciting, Kim... a used Chevy Cobalt. Cheap, cheap. A basic/no frills car. It doesn't even have power windows (I didn't know they made cars anymore without power windows! lolol).

But, it's a car. Nick and I have been sharing the Blazer for so long that I seriously won't know what to do!! It'll be nice to just be able to GO and not worry about his schedule and whether he has the car or a ride or whatever.

I'm going to love it... even if I have to roll down the window manually!

Erin- my ghetto Kia has non powered windows. Just think if you ever drive into a river you and I will be able to roll our windows down and get out. lol

Mara, that made me laugh....though it is an eerie thought, about the water and the windows.

Time for me to start thinking about dinner here. Thinking of making crepes. It is my busy night as well. I have 2 kids that have Gymnastics for 2 hours and 1 kid that has soccer for 1 1/2 hours and then 2 kids that have activity night at the church for 2 hours. I enjoy the peace and quiet when they are all gone. lol

Just back from the DR. Lily has a double ear infection. We are waiting on strep & flu results.

awww Katie to you and Lily. i hope she starts feeling better with some meds! That sounds like a lot to have to be sick with at once.

Mara - LMAO about the river thing! Keep one of thise things you can ping the window with in your car! Actually I've panicked about this before too after hearing rescue stories on tv about it......I would have 5 kids to try and save....OMG

I am getting ready to leave in about 30 min to meet a friend for lunch, stop by my LSS to get more pp......like I need it.......and to see if she will pre order smash books......I get a 30% discount through work there if she does get them in and anyone wants one....just let me know!
