Morning! I started my day with a lovely email from Kass' guidance counselor. Seems that her Health Occupations teacher has made some statements about Kass that are incorrect and insensitive. Very uncomfortable since this teacher is a girl that Scott dated for over 3 years. UGH!!!!!

Anyone have a tub of calgon for me today?

Holy crap... I'd be seeing red. So sorry that happened. I always expect teachers to be caring and sensitive and then get so disappointed when they are not, and sadly then all teachers are painted with the same brush...

I think they just don't know what to do with the pregnant girl who actually does want to complete school. They have no precautions in place and her teacher is insensitive when Kass questions a clinical placement due to concern over the pregnancy (Xray is the clinical she was concerned with). She is seen as difficult. Which ticks me off to no end. I was 27 and pregnant during my CNA clinical and my instructor was very well informed on what was safe for me & what wasn't.

Also, this teacher didn't track Kass' clinical hours correctly and has told the counselor that she is "concerned" for Kass getting the hours she needs. Kass addressed this with the instructor several weeks ago when the instructor had miscalculated her hours. UGHHHHHH!

If this wasn't frustating enough, this instructor has been stalking my hubby on FB through one of our friends. REALLY??????????

Sorry for the rant!

Besides this teacher, Kass has had some very caring and respectful teachers. I have a great love for the ones who have patience for teens!

Katie, Scott should now "Face-slap" her now. Isn't that what it is called when they are publicly de-friended on Facebook? That woman is so immature; she acts worse than any of the students there and has been quite inappropriate on many occasions. uggh...

Busy day here working and then packing. Hoping I can squeeze in a manicure this evening. Leaving for GA EARLY AM tomorrow.

Katie...much luck with dealing with the uncaring teacher. Climb the ladder if needed and talk to the principal. That type of behavior is uncalled for and inexcusable!!! And your DHs ex...well... he needs to handle that one now. Your family is dealing with far greater things to have to worry about a stalker wanting to gain your DHs attention! Kick her to the curb!!!

My day...laundry...and cards for a swap if I can find my mojo to do them! DD has a cough that won't quit...hoping she feels better today! This spring break feels like eternity!

Morning everyone!

It is afternoon already here. I did my Grocery Shopping this morning. Watched Survivor from last night and worked on my explosion album for a little bit.

I plan on working out in the yard for an hour or so. Thursday is my crazy day with Gymnastics, Soccer and Church Activity Night, so I hope I actually find the time to get out there and pull some weeds.

awww Katie that sounds like a horrible situation for you and Cass. I hate crazy women. lol

Another slow day at work. I was bored by 9:30. I see a lot of Pinterest and Netflix in my future today. Tonight I have Zumba and my favorite teacher is subbing tonight so I am super excited.

First off that stinks.
Second, and I may be one of those dummies that is the reason stupid labels are put on boxes but you can have ALL of my calgon.......haha the other night like a dummy I put some in my bath and realized I had forgot to remove my make and did it in the tub water of calgon......guess what it did to my face.....oh yeah Chemical Burn from hell, lol! It's now to the dry cracked peeling stage.....so yeah I'll give ya all the calgon ya want!!!! lol Hope that gave you a laugh at my expense anyway!

oh no, katie! i'm so sorry. i hate it when teachers are insensitive -- it really gets my hackles up, probably because i *am* a teacher, LOL. hope that it all works out.

today is my first full day since monday. i'm out again tomorrow working at the county office, so i'm treating today like friday!!! it's slow going, but my fifth graders are working on publishing books, my second graders are in the middle of a project, and i introduce a new genre to my third graders today. definitely not dull!

Silly Julia just crawled under my chair to get under the desk and is now standing under the desk peeking up at me! (I am sitting cross-legged with my feet up in my chair.) She looks so adorable and mischievious at the same time!

Katie- I'm sorry Kass has a teacher giving her a hard time! You would think she would be encouraged in her determination to complete her education rather than dropping out and going on welfare.

I can't seem to finish anything I start today, what is wrong with me? So much to do before 3...
easily distracted from one thing to another this morning.
I started looking for some free spring subway art printables but couldn't find any. I found a rainbow quote, that was it. Any idees?

just finished blowing 6 eggs out of their shell. Things we do for our kids and school assignments. I hate blowing eggs.

that is how i feel about work today, alecia! so i decided to work on a couple small projects that whip up quick instead of the big one that i have been mulling over all week.

tam-i remember doing that as a kid. what are you doing w/ the eggs?

the kids need them for school. They will be coloring them and then they use them to hang from trees.

I have been missing everyone lately! I feel like I have just been running in circles. I have had an "if you give a mouse a cookie" kind of week. One project makes me think of another and so on.

Katie, I am sorry Kass is having problems with her teacher. I want to call and let her have a piece of my mind, so I can only imagine what you are feeling as her Mommy! I hope that things are able to be sorted out with out too much stress for Kass.
