Question about posting Empty Question about posting

Post by Tamara Tue Dec 14, 2010 9:00 am

OK, let's see if I can explain this.

When I repond to someone, I always type what I want and then tab over to the submit button and then enter to submit, instead of using a mouse. But with this forum, if I only hit tab once, it takes it to a preview instead of submit. Is there anyway to change that? Or am I going to have to just learn to tab 2 times? I mean, I am trying to remember, but it is not sticking in my brain. :laugh3:

you should just be able to hit "send" once
that's what I do
are you typing in the small box under the last post or are you hitting reply?

I have a question too-
is there a way to have a "new post" button instead of having to go to home and then view post since last visit every time?

Sara, when I type here, it is the box at the bottom of the screen. Now to send I am going to hit tab and then enter. But when I do that, it takes me to the preview page instead of just posting it. If I want to just post it instead of preview, I have to tab 2 times. I'm just not used to it and am afraid I am going to have to re-train my brain. lol

ya you will because when you are hitting tab its bringing you to "preview" instead of "send" so you will have to either pick your finger up and actually hit the button or hit tab twice

Tam,

Sadly there isn't a way that I see to change the order of the buttons (which is really what you need). So I think you are going to have to retrain your brain or use a mouse.

I think I will have more luck in re-training my brain than using a mouse. But I am afraid I am going to get frustrated a few times before it happens. lol

Well, then I am in good company. It is amazing how we just get so used to something, you know.

I guess if I keep posting, it will come faster. Very Happy

I want to look into a new post button Sara but have not yet. One trick is you can do action then see new to see new posts within a sub forum like chit chat.
