Anniversary Help Empty Anniversary Help

Post by Tamara Tue Dec 14, 2010 2:41 pm

Our 17th Anniversary is on Saturday. I need some help thinking of something to do and a gift to give him. Nothing can top our Venice trip last year. So no since in trying. Just seems like it is always the same old-same old. KWIM?

First congrats on the 17 years! The modern gift for 17 is furniture. But i think that's boring. lol Anyway you can surprise him with a shorter trip someplace closer? Or is there some tech toy he wants?

that is the thing, we are really trying to save up for an anticipated move in the next few months. He would freak if I spent much on him. Plus, I have vowed that anything that has to be plugged in is not bought anymore due to the plug differences and wattage differences in America vs Germany.

Furniture, huh? Who knew. I need to think on this one.

Is there an experience you can give him? Like breakfast in bed then an activity he would love, and then dinner somewhere he likes that maybe you don't often go to?

Congratulations on 17 years!

How about a special dinner either at a restaurant or see if you can pawn off the children and have a quiet special dinner, etc. at home!

Congrats on 17 years! For our 17th earlier this year, he went camping with the boys. Romantic, huh? lol Just do something better than that and it'll be a success! lol

Since you are moving back to the Us hopefully- Is there anything specific left in Germany you have wanted to do or see but haven't yet?
