Hi gals! What's on your list for today?

I'm doing the daisy domestic thing today and sewing/mending. I bought dh and myself some new slacks and since we both have short legs, I'll be cutting and shortening pants today! Not exciting, but necessary so we don't trip on our clothes while walking!

I'm hazeling the house and delivering teacher gifts.

Good Morning! I have physical therapy this morning then grocery shopping and picking up the last few gifts.

I have a busy day ahead of me. I have to babysit this afternoon, then I'm hoping to finish up Christmas shopping tonight. I'm not looking forward to either. I really want to sit home in my sweats and scrap!

Any word from Tam or Gardner today about Ian?

Oh, and miraq has a birthday on the board today.

I just posted Garners latest update. Looks like Tam will be staying with him in the hospital for a few days.

Alecia, you are so sweet! You always remember everyone's birthdays and are so good about making it special for them. Thank you for that!

Little bit of work this morning, and then our office Christmas party starts at 11:30ish. I finally found a shirt to wear last night at Kohls, that's appropriate to wear, and looks nice The office party will be fun, it's at a snooty club (that the food stinks -- I leave starving because they don't know how to cook meat so it isn't mooing at you), but I'm told that the entertainment this year is an improv group so I'm excited about that!!

taking Kenz to the doc at 11am...she has a temp of 101 and a bad cough, it literally came out of nowhere at about 4pm yesterday!!

then I have to run to Sam's club
then I have bunco tonight and we do Christmas game as well so we all have to bring a $10 gift

I just finished up a DT layout & now I need to go make myself pretty for my lunch date. Have a good afternoon all!

The kids had no school again. Oh, the pure joy! A 3 week Christmas vacation with them. The house is clean and laundry too, oh, what to do, oh what to do. I think I am going to scrap......

My flight yesterday was canceled due to weather.
My flight at 11 today was canceled due to mechanical issue (so, I am glad the engine decided to not start at all vs. stop working mid-flight)
I was rebooked on another airline and had to make three trips back and forth between them to finally get my boarding passes.
But I don't leave till 5:15. So I'm having starbucks. Because it wouldn't be safe for me to drink from now till 5pm.

I finished hemming up 2 pr of slacks this morning, wrapped some Christmas gifts and now I'm working on sewing the eyes, nose and mouth on a snowman hat for my little grandson!

What a PITA! The day can only improve, right?

gotten a lot done today...
but boy, it looks like a hurricane blew through the kitchen and dining room where I was scrapping! eek....

Today was our school Christmas party - we got free lunch at a local Italian restaurant, although no open bar :grrr: lol Now I'm in need of a nap - big lunch + glass of wine has made me sleepy.
