K, how's the arm?

Post by asarasota on Fri Dec 17, 2010 10:29 am

Were you able to sleep with the torn rotator cuff? Hope they gave you something to keep it immobilized and something for pain. How're you feeling today?
Hope it starts to heal soon... do you have to have surgery?

I saw it posted yesterday that it was torn. How did you do it, K? That is not an easy task!

I did it falling down my flight of 14 hardwood stairs Smile

I was able to sleep really well actually; they gave me some valium for the spasms, and it put me right to sleep for 8 hours.

I'm in a sling for two weeks; taking some heavy duty anti-inflammitorys.

The doc says he thinks it should heal enough on its own, as long as i take the medicine and stay in the sling for the next two weeks.

if not, then i'll have to go see an orthopedic specialist and take some futher steps.

Looks like I'm not gonna be doing much in the way of scrapping until after christmas...

but I can get some planning done and stuff. and of course I can come on here and chat with you guys:)

Sad I'm sad for you, too! And while my arm is not immobile, I totally know how you feel staring at your scrappy stuff and not being able to scrap!

Sad I'm sorry that you can't scrap and you aren't allowed to move your arm! I hope the two weeks fly by with Christmas and New Years! Then you'll be scrapping again before you know it!

Well, doesn't that just bite, K!
There is no one-handed scrapping? Wink
