Happy Monday

I am getting ready to drop Kass off to school and head into work. We have our office holiday brunch this morning. Then I am taking some personal time and leaving work early. I have had the bah humbugs at work so I am going to minimize my time in the office this week so I can be my normal happy holiday self.

they have school thru tomorrow and the teachers have workshops on wednesday. i think that children do not pay a lick of attention the whole month of december, forget this week.
not sure about you but we have 5 shopping days left here...i know that because i plan on going on thursday.

i was surprised to see so many kids still in school. Ryan was out Friday at 1 and i let him stay home cause they had a buy out (Pay $2 to go to the gym for a pep ralley) and he didnt want to. he had a hurt neck too so it worked out. he goes to encampment next sunday for the 2nd week of break so he really only gets 1 weeks "off". he wants to go though and cant wait. and i will have 5 days ALONE! wow! oh and one week done for DH being gone.

I'm going to do a little grocery shopping this morning and I have 1 more gift card to purchase. they are predicting snow for our area later this afternoon, so I plan on being home and comfy before the snow comes!

I'm home babysitting for a friend who has jury duty.
We took a walk around the yard around 7 a.m. and saw 8 deer, 2 sandhill cranes, and 2 mating silver foxes. Oh no, what he's going to tell his Mom!!!
He said he'd already seen it on Discovery channel, so I guess I'm not in too much trouble...

morning! Mandi has finals the next three days...today she is out at noon, tomorrow noon and Wednesday....9 a.m.! I have to wrap some gifts today, run to the post office, hit the grocery store and continue to work on the mini...trying to decide what to make the girl for dinner tonight too..hate having to think about that every day..ugh!

I need to whip this house into shape today and whip myself out of this funk!

I had a hard time getting up this moring
I need to get a few last minute gift items and I hope to do that today

I need to wrap gifts from Santa tonight...I thought I would do it while the boys are watching the Vikes game so they will be distracted

Morning everyone!

Today is a short day as they are closing the office early so people can get ready for the office Christmas party. If I can get my tire fixed today I might just go to get out of the house and have some cheer.

I also really want to watch the eclipse tonight!

I'm excited about the full moon and lunar eclipse, too!
It's my dd's bday, too, the shortest day of the year... she says she's always cheated a sunshine on her bday... tomorrow is 13, I have a (gasp) teenager...

I was hoping to sleep in today since I didn't get to this weekend...but Ben was up at the normal time this morning. I have sewing to do today...need to get all of these aprons made for gifts this week. My only days off this week were yesterday and Christmas. Lots left to do for the holidays!!!

Alecia- I LOVE Sand Hill Cranes... if I ever get a 2nd (or third?) Tatoo.. one will be a Sand hill Crane! Seriously! (I have a bird thing! LOL- the other will be a Bald eagle of some kind- but not biker dude kind of eagle! LOL)

I am so chilly- yesterday my apt was so warm- and it is NEVER that warm... but now it is back to chilly... I wonder if the caretaker just made sure my heat was going full because he knew I was havign company... because otherwise I cannot explain it! LOL

I have to get my butt in gear- meeting my friend in about 40 minutes at the gym and I still need to get out to the car- wipe it off and get going...

maybe is was because of all those warm bodies at your party yesterday!

Seriously, when we've had parties at home with lots of people, we would lower the heat on the furnace, cause it did get warmer with the extra peeps!

we are getting another snow storm now so I'm staying put

I did my shopping early this morning cause we're supposed to be getting snow this evening too!

I wrapped a couple of more Christmas prezzies and made some tags!

I've been so busy since company came... and left. Not much scrappy has gotten done, and I have cards to make pronto!

I got all my Christmas cards in the mail and finished my Christmas shopping today. Just in time because the snow (which is supposed to turn to rain later this evening) started just as I pulled into the driveway. Now I need a nap!
