I am thawing the spinach now for my quiche... need to go make the Turkey Bacon.. then I am whipping out my mini-pie maker for the first time and trying it out with the quiches!

If it is easy enough... I am considering going up to Target (I can walk and then I don't have to worry about parking! PLUS this is the downtown Target... and with so few people workig today.. it should not be totally crazy up there!) I will get some apples and pears to go with the crackers, cheese and soup tonight... and a few extra to make a couple mini-pies for dessert! Why not!? I have nothing else to do todsay..

Well except I plan to make the lasagna today so all I have to do is pop it into the oven when I am ready to cooko it in the next two days!

The laundry is started, Tom is cleaning the kitchen Smile , and the grocery list is ready including ingredients for Amy's Egg Bake for breakfast tomorrow! I guess that means I have to put real clothes on and head to the store. Laughing

OK- bacon is cooked... mini-pie maker is seasoned and running a heat cycle... (it says it shoudl run through two to get it "started")

As soon as this movie is over I am throwing on jeans and boots and a big ole sweater and headed to target ... just cause I cannot stay in the house! LOL Going to get some apples and pears for both snacks tonight AND pies... we'll see how this pie maker works on both quiche and sweet pies...

I need puff pastry for the tops it says that works better than pre-made pie crust... where do I get puff pastry? what aisle in the grocery store? Anyone know?

oh lord, I just went to Publix for rice... it took three tries. First two times, no parking spaces in a 1-mile radius. I could've taken the bus there and back faster! ;-)

I cheated. I just put on real pants but left the old stretched out bra and t-shirt on. I figured no one would notice once I had my scarf and coat on. Laughing

Finishing December daily...
how weird, posts are clearing from the board really fast today... there were just a dozen, and then a minute later, all gone!
some were new posts, too...

Hi everyone!

I made Tam's PB fudge and a new recipe I tried for butter pecan fudge. Now I feel a bit sick! lol

Now watching an old Jane Fonda movie on netflix and hanging here online. Dinner with my family (we open gifts tonight) is late because my baby sis is working... so 8 or 8:30pm dinner.
