Friday Xmas Eve

Just got back from a fabulous Christmas Eve dinner at Tess' house. Nothing like hugs from kids you don't know to brighten your mood. And Ill be eternally grateful for a friend and their who treated me as if I was one of their own this year!

Madea was on netflix- watch it now! Tyler Perry is out of control when he does her... the story is always depressing- so Madea HAS to make it funny!

Mara- that sounds so nice!!!

I am pretty bummed that I am alone... I knew IF sylla came over at all it woudl be late... but I am still bummed... I need to call my girlfriend on Sunday or MOnday and see if she can get me a ticket home... iwould love to surprise my family for their Holiday Dinner on the 30th

He'll be here in about an hour I guess,... siad he would call when he was on his way.. and has;t called yet...

Good hting i have crackers, apples, cheese and wine!

we just got back from moms. i got some nice stuff - a new robe and slippers, bubble bath, a white topaz ring. everyone loved what we got them too.
DH is wrapping the last of the kids haul. brats are spoiled lol

All the Mom & Dad and Gramma & Papa gifts are under the tree, the stockings are stuffed, and the egg bake is ready to go in the oven in the morning. Now it's time for adult beverages and Elf.

Sorry you are alone La! It's exactly why I went out. Plus it sounds like you are well stocked!

Yeah... he had to work.. he's not keeping me waiting intentionally... I called at almost 9:30 and he was just getting to his house... he is showering and heading this way... should be here soon..

I suspect he went out shopping on the way home... but we'll see.

See THIS is why we are not "officially" dating any more... he knows that to ME not being alone this two days is important... but not having grown up in this culture and not celebrating Christmas himself.. he doesn't really "get" it. He knows its important so he is dragging himself to the city (he lives 45 minutes away) at 10:30 at night to be with me because I asked him to... but he doesn't really "get" it... or he would have ben here sooner- or made a way not to even work etc... you know?

I am eating chocolate covered pretzels too LOL BAD BAD! LOL the wine is still tasty though! And in the AM? Mimosas!!

See- that sounds fun! I am watching the Pacifier on USA! I love Vin Deisel!!

BUT there is just SOMETHING about Elf!! LOL It is on all day tomorrow on USA I htink!

I cannot find Elf on TV... so I am going to just keep watching Pacifier until tomorrow!

LOL He walked in the door and right into my bedroom to wrap my present! LOL I told you he ended up going shopping before he came to my house... he didn't want to stay out any longer since it was already so late- so he came and wrapped it here... what a goof... LOL and sweet...
