Launch Party - Get Organized with Clipboards and To-Do Lists! 8pm EST
Happy New Year Everyone!!!
For me, the new year always brings organization, *especially* scrappy organization.
One of the best ways for me to keep organized is to create to-do lists! Just the act of writing something down always helps me to remember it.
One of my other favorite organizational tools are clipboards! I cannot get enough of them!
I thought to myself, what if I combine my two favorite organizational tools? Here is what I came up with!

I used a legal size clipboard, decorated it a bit, and covered it with some acrylic plastic so that I could use dry-erase markers on it!
My challenge to you is to take inspiration from my project and create either
a. A re-useable crafty to-do list (or goal list, or inspiration list
b. An altered clipboard that will help you to stay crafty organized in 2011
10 points for completing this challenge! Remember to photograph and link back here by the deadline!

I always forget how not great that acrylic cover photographs. Next time I need to take a before photo so that all the light isn't reflecting right off the acrylic. lol.

I actually bought a clipboard a few weeks ago just to do this. As soon as I find my transparencies I will have to do this!

I'm gonna stop by the pharmacy on my way out today. They have mini clipboards in their dollar bin.

I'll have to wrestle one away from dd, she always keeps them all in her room.

i found a great quote about not managing time but managing your priorities. Wonder what i did with it, because it would be great for this challenge lol

I didn't have a clipboard that I could alter and didn't want to go buy one so I made my own from scratch.

I used some thick chipboard for the base and covered with two papers. I stock up on post it note pads and long pads at Target in the $1 aisle when I see some I like. I made the calendar in MS Publisher. The Hello Kitty on the pocket is cut from a sheet of the long note pad. The flowers are SU felt flowers.
The inspiration came from my dh when he brought me a piece of chipboard from his day planner refill and asked if I could decorate it for him. He wanted to put it in the front of his day planner and have a solid surface to write on. Here is what I came up with for him.

That gave me an idea. This might be the biggest to-do list ever. That is a 12" green scallop ruler in the bottom right corner.
It is an old porcelain countertop I got at a flea market.
I painted around the edges, added flower and letter (wall) decals, and magnets.
the polka dot flowers I made into magnets
I'm psyched!!! It's going to hang on my wall in my office, and I can use dry erase markers on it too!!
Thanks for the challenge and the idea!!!!
