Useless Question....

Post by javagirl761 on Fri Dec 31, 2010 10:32 am

Do you save ornament hooks or do you buy new ones every year?

For some reason, I save them. Then I can't find them. Then I buy new ones.

EXACTLY Donna!

I try to pinch them so they stay on the ornament but the next year most of them are gone!

Since I don't take the ornaments off they tree, yes, I do save the hooks! Laughing
(I just wrap the whole tree in an old tablecloth and move it from the family room to storage.)

I save them, but they smell aweful to me if it's not a "fresh pack"!

When I put them away they usually stay on the ornaments so I use them over and over.

I just found a box of new ornament hooks in a cabinet drawer that I haven't used since last year! I'll be using these next year (if I can find them again)

Really, they do smell...it's a funky metal like smell.

I have artificial trees. I love the ease of 3 pieces and lights already on the tree.

We've had artificial trees for about 4 or 5 years now....don't know if I plan on going back to fresh or not.
