I recently made this banner for Mara for her birthday re-do crop (I missed her crop the first time!) and it reflects a few of my favorite crafty things right now. So your challenge is to use some of my favorite things from this project to inspire a card, layout or project from you.

Your project must meet at least TWO of the following:

  1. Use the same color scheme as my banner (teal & golden yellow/orange)
  2. Use butterflies on your project
  3. Create a scallop circle shaped layout, card or project
  4. Stitch a circle on your layout or project
  5. Use a patterned transparency
  6. Distress your project with paint
  7. Doodle on your project

Well I'm needing to practice my photo taking of projects, so I apologize for the washed out color on this one. I did another double layout with a sketch from Sketch Support. I chose to do the two colors and then I distressed the bg with blue by using the "flicking" of a toothbrush. I wanted some subtle color in the bg. It's hard to see in the photo, but it is there and adds a texture too! (My husband and son went on a Cub Scout outing that involved Turkey Bowling, Snow Snakes, Ice Fishing, and a Sled Race. The paper is K&Co Cub Scout paper and has the fleur de lis pattern in it.)
