Thursday and Thunderstorms

Good morning!
We're having wicked 50-mph winds here this a.m. No fun to put kids on the bus!
How are you? what's the weather? and what's on your schedule?

Just picked up the two younger kids from Kindergarten. Now we have lunch and then we are rushing to the orthodontist. All three big kids have appointments. But they are not moving very fast. They are still in their pj's. I don't think they take me too seriously. They WILL go in their PJ's if they are not ready in time.

I have a dentist appointment for a cleaning followed by grocery shopping this morning. Apparently six months ago I thought 8:40 was a good time for an appointment. :rolleyes:
Later today, after Kim is done babysitting Lou's cousins, we are taking Julia to get her ears pierced!

I'm at work.... yawn! :coffee:

Can't believe it's only Thursday.

Back to a "normal" routine today -- teaching, teaching, teaching.

Good morning! This getting healthy thing might be going better than I thought. I woke up today in a good mood before my alarm. That is NOT me!!!

I got the girls off to school. Now I'm home doing a few things on the computer. Then I have to go back and get the twins off the bus and babysit until about 3:30. After that I am taking Julia to get earrings! Lou finally caved and told me that I could get her ears pierced, he just didn't want to be there!

I am meeting Dad for breakfast in just a bit. I'm starved too so I'm looking forward to the scrambled eggs, bacon, hashbrowns, and toast.

Morning! Got all of the kiddos off to school. I have to work and sneak in some scrap time for the OLW class. DD has volleyball night and DS has baseball. Same ole...same ole!

It's so dark and stormy here.... should be October weather!
I'm worried about all those dead birds in Arkansas, Louisiana, Kentucky, Sweden, now more reports coming in from South America... scary.
OK, must clean up all the stuff I dumped to sort. Have a good one!

Im at work for a bit then another round of Drs with DH. And apparently he woke up on the wrong side of bed so Im just thrilled to spend half a day with him sitting and waiting in various waiting rooms

I did however just find out that no one has gotten bonuses yet vs me just being screwed out of one so Im hoping sometime in the next month or so Ill have a little play $.

Dr. Fantastic was fine. He just has a HUGE ego that I'm going to have to get over...
I teach a literacy block to gifted/advanced fifth graders, writing specials/exploratories to second graders, and K-5 teachers how to teach reading and writing.

I've been out enjoying the morning sun and now in for a while to have a potty break and organize something for dinner tonight! then out to the pool/beach again!

I know, it's a tough life, but hey I put in my dues!

I'm home again! Time for a nap!!!

It's so rainy here... I'm making cream cheese danishes.
Not a lot going on here, just organizing scrappy stuff again.

as i sat in the doc office Tues there was a drug rep there. and i thought "what if I sat and waited in a doc's office for a living"
then i gave thanks for my job.

i've been working all morning. kinda overslept again. i guess i'm going to have to set my alarm. well, tomorrow is friday, maybe not.

anyway, hoping to be done by 3 or so today so i can chill and catch up with all of you

that is a job I would never want...I've seen many of them...and they all look alike

I just got up from my nap. I probably wouldn't have if my Dad hadn't called me. I think I was already down for the night.
