Fess up. How much did you pour down the drain? :giggle:
LOL! That's what I was thinking!!!

I'm slowly working on the laundry, but I don't have the heart to take down Christmas yet -- it was on the calendar for this coming weekend anyway...so I guess I'll leave it until then.

Z is taking the neighborhood to the grocery store, so B and I are hanging out... and I'm folding, folding, folding... Lunch soon, maybe.

More snow in Atlanta?

We are supposed to get hit pretty hard with snow & wind tomorrow. I am packing my work stuff to bring home tonight "just in case" the roads are too bad in the morning. I really hope that they are passable though because I am finding it hard to focus working at home now that Scott works from home.

Besides that, nothing after work tonight except maybe some scrapping. Smile

He does drive a Big Red Truck, right? LOL!

I think he has cabin fever... which isn't helping MY cabin fever, but I guess it's better to get him OUT of the house than have him pacing in here, right?

Nope luckily no new snow but we just aren't equipped to clear roads here. They simply don't have enough trucks. Right now they are working on just keeping the interstate clear so its going to be a while before side streets get done.

I can totally understand that, Mara. One of my best gf lived in Atlanta for 8 years (but is from Maine originally) and had told me that just a little snow shuts the whole city down because it isn't typical to get snow.

Tess, what kind of truck does he drive? I am envisioning my DH with your comments about Z! He would also be going crazy and pacing if he was snowed in and pacing the house. And he drives a big red Ford!

how're you feeling-feeling today? Yesterday you said you were off a little? You ok?

We dumped the entire thing back onto the Housing Commission. They need to make a decision by Thursday or it is a no go...

As to how I feel...I'm better than yesterday, but now I have a headache...maybe I need this whole business to just be over with.

It's a Dodge Ram Quad Cab Full Bed Six Speed Cummins Turbo Diesel with no dual-mass flywheel complete with a Ranch Hand Bumper.

It screams "Redneck!" but when you see Z, you think WTH? He's a hippie!!!

I love that you know the exat details of his truck! And of course I had to read it twice to get all of that!

The truck Lou had when we started dating was a huge red beast! When it finally crapped out on him and he wanted to replace it with another one just like it I told him he had to buy something we could BOTH drive and a huge beast was not ok. So, he got the 150 instead! Still a bed monster, but I can at least drive it.

Oh yeah, it's a 2500... LOL!

I can drive it, though I don't love to. It's like aerobic exercise to hit the clutch, shift, release the clutch and take off... UGH!

The best was driving while preggo -- I have to pull the seat forward and raise it WAY up to see over the hood. My belly was RIGHT against the steering wheel.

No worries Alecia!

We made it the 0.25 miles to the target by our house... and they were closing in 5 minutes! We got me some wheat thins and starbucks and Thomas some cheese and Diet Coke. And Waffle House is staying open so I guess there is always that!

I am done with work for the day. Considering scrapping a bit...

Yay for the Starbucks! :starbucks:

I'm drinking a real Coke for the first time in ages. Been yapping all day and my mouth is needing Coca Cola!
So neat, all my museum tourists were from GA today, here escaping the snow. We had a great time. They were from Jalapa (?), and some other J named towns. Jasper, maybe? One was south of Atlanta, the other quite north. I had been speaking an hour and said, ok, I'll let you go, don't want to take up your whole day, and they said, no no, we're going with you. So sweet.

I have decided to go back to school to finish up my bachelors degree. My academic advisor replied to me that with the classes I need to finish up. I have 3 semesters worth of classes to take and more than half of them are general education classes. I really do not understand the rhyme and reason for how they chose what we need to take. ????
