About all this snow

Got this in a note from a friend 
She said that early this morning the snow was already waist high and it is still falling. The temperature is dropping below zero and the north wind is increasing.
Her husband has done nothing all day but look through the kitchen window.
She says that if it gets much worse, she may have to let him in.

That was cute!
I saw new snow here and was like NOOOOOOOOOOO!
But it stopped. Its sunny out this exact minute! I plan to drive in to work tomorrow so keep your fingers crossed for me. We went the 0.2 miles today to eat and I saw 3 people stuck on the side of the road.

omg that is hysterical.
I tried digging out our cars and our driveway. I got about half done then thought f-that and went back inside. lol

Yeah its crazy out there. Its like no ONE is salting anything. The parking lots are just packed with ice and everyone's cars are still covered in snow. its like everyone is hiding and just hoping it will go away but with how cold it is it might just be time to bring out some trucks and shovels people!

The problem is there aren't any. Atlanta has 10-borrowed 10 more and on Tue called in 40 private contractors. There is no way 58 trucks can clear the metro atlanta area.

I get that
But even parking lots aren't bothering to ice or shovel... Its fine but its just sort of pitiful!

I heard this morning that there is snow on the ground in 48 states right now. That's a lot of snow!
