So, this etsy seller makes planters and other home decor from "reclaimed" items. I looked through her shop and began to wonder what her full time job is!

I've been thinking a lot about femininity, and the current emphasis in the media of plastic-y looks and products. I wanted this little planter to juxtapose nature and plastic to show how beauty is becoming "manipulated" and increasingly artificial.

Oh I'm sorry, did we mention Ms. Feminism bleaches her hair... somehow this amused me a bit.
