I am going to kill paypal

I swear I hate it...

I had my old acct get locked up. Nothing I do online would fix it and I refused to waste my time to call them.

so I have a new paypal acct with a new card number. I sent money and received money and all was fine. I go to send money to a friend tonight and it is telling me I have to add money from my bank acct to send money. WTF? I usually just "send" money and it uses the debit card attached to the account. I can even see a pending payment using this debit card.

Any idea why Pay Pal all of a sudden claims I have to add money first?

Never mind... I gave up and linked my bank acct to it. That fixed the issue but I really have no idea why I couldn't just use my debit card for that acct to send the money.

Paypal keeps putting my old delivery address back in even after I delete it and the card it was attached to, it's like it runs a database that keeps saving over the new changes...
but you're right, no point with a call that you wait for hours and nothing gets fixed.

I have been having MAJOR issues with paypal lately. I called them (because e-mailing and chatting w/ them got me no where) got them to lift some silly limit they imposed on my account for no apparent reason and then last week they CANCELLED my Scarlet Lime subscription for no apparent reason. UGHHHHH!

Yeah I really don't like paypal. Mostly because it appears that if you have issues they do almost nothing to help you fix them. Its annoying.

Thanks Bree! When I finally got frustrated enough to call with my first issue, the guy was super nice on the phone. Said it was their fault, he would fix it. No, my account wasn't hacked, no need to worry. Then the problems start all over again. Now they are offering to validate the card I have been using for 6 months with a $1.95 fee. Really?

Anyway....

That is sort of how paypal is Leslie. When it works life is great. the only issue is when you have an issue... they seem to stink at resolving them.

I had that problem too! My first account got locked up. The only way to fix it was to create a new account. But, since my bank account was linked to my first account I can't add it to my current account!

I lucked out somehow Kim...

I think I used a different routing number last time (paper vs. electronic?) so it seemed to work. I was surprised.

I've never had any issues either but sorry to those of you that have!

I had one situation when I first opened up my business account and linking that and my personal together but they were very helpful in getting it fixed for me. That was also 4 years ago so I know things change.
