Today's question is very simple.

How do you deal with anger? Are you loud? Do you yell? or are you more withdrawn and silent?
Does your coping method change depending on who it is you're angry with? and who it is your dealing with?

I get withdrawn and silent till I explode then its a hell hath no fury sort of feel to it. I don't really have a good coping mechanism. I used to do my sword work (nothing like pretending to chop people heads off to calm the sole) but right now I don't do anything.

I do however tend to withdraw from the situation so Im no longer in contact with the person who made me angry. Its better for all concerned that way. lol

I totally wear it on my face too...you can totally tell when I'm mad

one time I was mad at my friend and she said "what's wrong" and I said "nothing" and she said "I know you are mad your eyebrows are up" Laughing

I'm like Mara.

I get withdrawn, and stop talking completely. Sometimes I can calm myself down. other times I just work myself up into a much bigger tizzy.

I'm a yeller. My poor hubby and kids who have to deal with me if I'm mad and someone to whom it would be inappropriate to yell. Then I just yell at them. I don't yell at my students. I work very hard at not letting them get to me in that way. But then I end up going home and taking it out on my loved ones Smile

It depends on the situation and who got me mad - most times I withdraw. i tend to bottle things up inside. And soemtimes it's not worth the effort to say or do anything. If it's my kids, I yell at them expecially if it's something I have told them a million times.

Generally, though, I keep it to myself.
