Re: Wednesday Dinner
I just made an omlet with garlic, pepper, freshly grated parmasean and sliced provolone cheese, scallions, onions and 99%lean ground turkey. And a piece of whole grain toast with organic grape preserves.
Re: Wednesday Dinner
I think we're going to Sara's for dinner!
But if that doesn't pan out, then I think we're ordering pizza

Re: Wednesday Dinner
I had the black eyed peas I made on Sunday plus whole grain brown basmati rice. It was yummy
Re: Wednesday Dinner
I made beef stew for the first time today! It was ok, I will have to change things up a bit the next time I think. The best part, it was only 5 WW points! I thought for sure a thick stew would be way more points.

Re: Wednesday Dinner
I love making stew! I have a few different versions I like to make. if I make it thin I like to add sweet onions and some tomatoes or tomato sauce. It makes a great broth for the stew. YUM!
Re: Wednesday Dinner
That sounds good Bree! And that would probably help with the taste too. It was a bit blah, but having the addition of tomatos would help.

Re: Wednesday Dinner
Yeah I used to do a "gravy" kind my mom made, but its heavier like you said. Adding sweet onions and tomatoes give it a richness with no extra calories really.
Re: Wednesday Dinner
I went to the WW Web site hoping I could see the new points chart, but evidently you have to join first...

Alecia, you can join free for a week to check things out and then cancel if you don't think you want to do it. That way you can go check out the site and then cancel your membership when you are done looking.
