I see a nap in my future. And possibly a shower. It is almost 2pm and I still have not showered.

but, I have gotten all caught up on my shows.

Good morning! I felt like a little kid watching for school closings today. The National Weather Service has reported 12.9" of snow, but they news is saying with the snow drifts there are places with 5' snow drifts. I can hear the neighborhood snowblowers going right now.

I think today will be a good day to be scrappy!!!

I'm supposed to be at the museum for meetings all day, blah..... but ds insists he is sick. Having trouble getting him to school this a.m.

Tom made it home from work this morning and is out snowblowing & shoveling and Lou left early for work but us girls aren't leaving the house today! The snow is deeper than my dog is tall. I opened the back basement landing door where Bear usually goes out and the drift was about 3 ft deep! I let him out the back porch door and he hopped through Tom's footprints 'til he got to the corner of the garage so he could lift his leg.

I can not take it anymore. I am off to shower. I know everyone will appreciate it getting done.

Im at work trying not to fall asleep. I've been getting almost 8 hours every night which is unheard of for me but i still feel tired all the time.

I HAVE to get my run in tonight as my knee hurt too much to do it Monday.

I suggest getting some bloodwork done. That's how I was feeling and attributing it to my fibro when it turned out I needed vitamin D supplements.

Been at the museum all morning long in meetings that were so boring and awful I was tempted to quit. And two people did, it was that bad. The gist: don't try to inform or educate, put an emphasis on moving people on through. So in other words, we just want bus drivers. move em on through. move em on through. that really ticked me off...
But I did relieve them of some handouts to cut up for my mini.
I feel very unappreciated at this point. Ugh. And I have to meet with my son's guidance counselor. Shoot me now.

Alicia -- that sounds awful.

Mara, I agree with Cindy on the bloodwork. Thats how I found out that I'm anemic and needed to take iron pills during pms/afterwards.

I actually tear paper into tiny little pieces when I get too frustrated.

I took a nice walk outside for a while, tried to find some perspective.
Just got some cool Nikki Sivils papers in the mail from a DT kit to play with...
it has skunks.
It seems grossly unfair that it's 80 here and some folks have 7 foot snow drifts. I'm appreciating that fact.

Sorry they don't appreciate you! *I* was very impressed by your knowledge and happy you were willing to share! with the meeting with the counselor.

Mara, do you take a daily vitamin? That has helped with my energy level a bit since I started trying to eat better.

Alecia, I am sorry that they don't appreciate you at the museum! I am suprised that they just want people to rush through, I am way more likely to come back to a place that I feel like I got something from and more likely to recommend it to others if I think it was worth my time.

Mara changes in energy level can be from stress and emotional stuff too!
