12.10 Ornament Challenge

Post by Mara on Fri Dec 10, 2010 2:04 pm

Im one of these crazy Christmas people that usually decorates whole hog every year. I even use a different theme every Christmas (I know nuts right??) This years theme is a woodland Christmas. Simple decor, packages wrapped in brown paper, pine cones for ornaments etc... Its looking a little plain so I am going to hand make some paper ornaments. All of these examples are really easy to make and a great way to use up older Christmas paper!

Your Challenge is to make at least 4 paper ornaments. Ill be RAKing a Christmas themed kit to a random person who finishes this challenge!

I love all the ideas and examples Mara!

I have made some ornaments in the past. You know, I think it would be cool to make some of these and use them as decorations on gifts! That way the decoration is not just thrown away but rather can be reused as an ornament!

I know Mara has a new theme but can reuse ornaments. Like solid color bulbs are reused over the course of several years when that color fits the theme if that makes sense. Plus I think she buys on sale after Christmas for the next year.
