Tuesday chat

Good morning!

Woken up early buy the neighbots' dog, Jack, who could see something in the woods. I couldn't see wnat he was barking at, but he was very upset. And he's not really a barky dog, so maybe it was a fox or a coyotes.
Now we are up, the sun is up, and ready to tackle Tuesday. How about you?

Headed to work. Lots to do today. One nice spot is a fun work lunch I organized weeks ago is today. I had forgotten all about it until yesterday

I have to head into work today
I haven't been since before FL
but I shouldn't have to be there to long and then I can come home and relax for a bit

Take Keira to the childrens' museum!

I'm babysitting today. Had a rough start to the morning when I had to brush glue out of the girls hair before school! They decided to put glue in each others hair at some point after going to bed last night. One more reason I am glad that I wasn't "blessed" with twins!!!

I think Julia has a goal today of making me say "No" at least 1,000 times! She is her father's child and has no fear!

Tonight for my Social Problems class we are going to a poverty simulation. It sounds pretty interesting and like I will learn a lot. We will each be given the role of a person in a family and we will have to complete a task. We have to figure out what resources are available to us try to get before they are all used up.

Nothing too interesting here today. Work, a run, Lily has swim, I have kickboxing, dinner at some point.

Sorry your day got off to a rough start Kim. That class sounds super interesting though!

I felt so tired this morning I let myself sleep in a little. Then watched a woman back into an old man walking through the parking lot at Kroger. She didn't even say she was a sorry. Just i didn't see you. He said he was ok but I made her give him her information just in case. He was such a nice man too.

Oh my gosh Mara! I can't believe the lady didn't think that she did anything wrong or act worried about the man! Good thing you were there to help him just in case!

I'm working on homework now and the website we are supposed to use is not working for me. I emailed my prof, so hopefully she has an idea on what I can do. In the mean time I will just set my homework aside and play with my phone!

That is crazy Mara!!
I am not sure, about the kickboxing yet. Last week was the first class and it was cancelled due to 24 inches of snow we got dropped on us. I'll let you know tomorrow.

met a huge number of lovely folks from Canada today at the museum, it was packed... the security guards kept telling me my groups were too big for the room, but I think it's rude to turn people away...
Home now and dh is working on the electrical so I'm using up my battery to check in. No news. No time to scrap today, boo hiss...

Oh! But my fortune cookie wrapper said Super K on it, so I kept it because it made me think of Kristin, our Super Souper K!

Hey ladies!

I started off this morning working but then my day turned kind of crazy quickly. Some of you might have seen my facebook status about Jason and Abbey. They were in a car accident this morning and while everyone is okay, Abbey hit her head pretty hard and they took her to the hospital via ambulance to get a ct scan to be safe. I was able to meet them before they left and rode in the ambulance with her. The CT scan turned out fine but she does have a concussion. She's starting to bruise and has quite a knot but she'll be fine.

Now we start the fun part of dealing with insurance and trying to get the truck fixed. I'm afraid it might be totalled but I sure hope not.

We had dinner plans with a friend but we cancelled and are all just hanging out and taking it easy.

Two ambulance trips in less than a month is too many!

Alecia, they're doing good today. Sore, but good. Jason went to work and Abbey went to school. Both with lots of Tylenol to hold them over.
