Embossed Chipboard

1.Start by spraying your chipboard with 2 coats of Maya Mist (or other mist)
2.Allow to dry.
3.Next I wanted to create a star where the embossed parts were inked. So I took out my embossing folder and inked the raised image with the 1" white ink pad.
3.Next, place the star (top side facing the inked part) in the embossing folder. Then run it through your machine according to its specific instructions.
4.The trick is to mist your chipboard before you emboss it - it gives your items a depth of color that you can't get if you emboss first and then mist.

this lo has embossed chipborad.
I used embossing paste and a heat gun, I used white though it comes in many colors then used an ink dobber to give it a charcoal look then used watercolors over te ink for the shimmer look. Check it out
