Favorite Cricut Cartridges?

I have only one font - because I have the SCAL software. I Do have over 60 shape carts - and use the Paper Dolls probably the most, not for the dolls - but all of the other gems that are on there in the other features!

Best place to shop? On Ebay you can get them for $20 or less and with free shipping...or, they have a $14.95 new years sale at Cricutmachine.com

Yes - it works with ANY Cricut.

I have the original (baby bug 6x12), an Expres​sion(12 x 12) , the Cricut Cake and the new Cricut Imagine (prints and cuts)

but HOW does it worl? Connect to the computer? to the crictu?

It is a software program on your computer that you use a cable and connect to your Cricut...you design and hit cut on the computer and the bug takes over and cuts what you have designed.

SCAL is NOT made by Provocraft and they say it will void your warranty...my bugs are older than that and I have never had a problem

I was really surprised that they had them there!! And a few different kinds too! For $20, I didn't think that it was too bad (you even got a 11% off (your entire purchase) rebate check for it if you want).

Lyrical letters is a great cartridge .. it even has those overlays that you can cut to fit an entire card front, easy card! and yep, Menards has a good selection of cricut supplies

I am liking this Story book one.... I was surprised at how much I felt like the letters were "finished" with the shadow behind them... I used them on my GELATO Layout... loved the way it came out!

I love mine.. I have about to 8-9 and I can not pick just one ... haha but the vintage ones are amazing!

I like my Lyrical letters one also.

I think I have SCAL still...it was freezing up so I only used it like twice...I got it when it first came out. I suppose if it was convenient at all for me, I would try to use it again.

I would really like some new carts...and I have the Gypsy...but, I have to justify spending the money on the cartridges. I should see if my cousin has some that she would let me put on my Gypsy.

I've thought a few times about getting SCAL, but it just wouldn't make sense for me. My Cricut is not at all by my computer, and I really don't have the space to have them both out. But it sounds like a really cool program!

Accent Essentials is $19.00, that's a pretty useful cart to for adding accents to scrapbook layouts and cards

I use opposites attract alot and also like the varsity lite cart for kids sports. I get mine on ebay. Im waiting for #43 to arrive.

I bought the cutest scal die cut. I have it framed in my scrappy room. It is circular and says "I worry when I die my husband will sell my scrapbook supplies for what I told him I paid for them."
