I saw your post in the launch thread saying that you are in need of something to work on, then I saw in the recipe book thread that a recipe book would be a nice project to work on through the year and I had a thought!

I bet Jill would LOVE a handmade recipe book of your family recipes as a wedding/welcome to the family gift! My favorite wedding gift was Lou's aunts famous wet burritto recipe! I have since then been given my aunts recipe for cheesy potatoes. While it may seem silly, I love those gifts more than any of the actual presents people went out and bought for our home because they have tons of meaning to me.

Just an idea of something for you to work on over the cold winter while we are all stuck home!

that is a great idea - and something I could work on through the entire year!

it would be good for Rob's Jessica too!

I'm sure both girls would love it! Especially if you included things that were favorite meals of the boys.

What a great idea Kim! My mom did a family recipe book for one of my extended cousins and it was such a hit that she made copies of it for the rest of the family.

I did a family recipe album for my nephew's weddding last year and included the stories. I'm sure that your green jello story will be great Leslie!

I need to add the carrot jello recipe and story to the family album!

Hey leslie... 32026 That's me Tonya! I am getting better, but as of right now I call what I do more of following a recipe rather than cooking!
