Weekend Projects Empty Weekend Projects

Post by rukristin Thu Dec 09, 2010 6:06 pm

What is everyone working on this weekend?

I have a couple layouts I want to work on.

I need to get caught up on my December Daily.

I was thinking of starting a new mini book about my Newport Jazz Festival trip.

I also wanted to finish up this mini that I've been on the edge of finishing for like two months now.

AND everyone's awesome challenges tomorrow!!

I need to start working on some stuff for upcoming Soup projects too Smile

I don't know that I will actually be scrapping this weekend, or more preparing to be able to work in the future!

My scrap stuff is all packed up. I still need to get it unpacked and figure out how I am going to fit my stuff in my room. I really got used to having an entire room to be my scrap room. Now it is going to be in my bedroom. I will figure something out though!

Then I also hope to work on some fun stuff for the new year at The Soup!

I'm planning on making my Christmas cards tomorrow. They'll be photo cards with added embellishments. As long as the weather doesn't get too bad for travel, I'll be out-of-town all weekend with a ball-jointed doll meet on Saturday and a Blythe doll meet on Sunday on the east side of the state. I've got an idea for making some Blythe hats for gifts from some fleece scraps in my stash so I might pull the sewing machine out tomorrow, too.

I've got to get busy on a "mini" I'm making for my Rob of a bunch of the photos he has put up on Facebook over the past several months.

I have been so behind. I owe two layouts to a project I am doing this year. I really really need to do them. I had NO energy to do them this last weekend, and they need to get finished up by year end, and I would feel better if it was sooner rather than later.

I have a mini on Lessons My Mom taught me that I want to work on. And I need to start planning my Feb class Smile

Well...I need to keep up with my December Daily but that's doable.

Then I need to make my Christmas cards.

I also want to make that 12 Days of Christmas thing that Shannon posted last year at the freak. Probably two of them actually.

And then a holder for the Christmas cards I'm receiving.

And I have about 10 projects for Ready Set Create that I need to get started on.

Not to mention some household projects that I want to work on for Christmas.

I'm tired already. lol

Dang! That's a long December list Mon!

One thing that is high on my "to do" list is to get my Christmas cards done, but I am doing digi photo cards this year. I have already started them, I just have to decide exactly how I want them to look them print them.

That's why I am doing the digi photo card! I have had people asking for pictures of Julia, so I will use her 6 mo. pictures on the cards. I like sending handmade cards to a few people, but very few people appreciate a handmade card, so I am not going to spend lots of time making them!

I'm horrible at giving her pictures to family! So, if I do it this way it serves double duty!

I know, right?!

That's more projects than I've done all year.

And strangely, I'm not even stressed about it.

Must be that freak thing off my plate. Wink Is that bad?

I am actually working on sewing projects for holiday gifts this weekend. I have a ton of reversible aprons to make and I have 2 fleece robes to make as well. After that is done, I have some knitting projects to complete too. Hopefully, I can get those done and out of the way. I also have to plan Ben's birthday party for next Sunday.

So I think I just decided to say home this weekend instead of driving all the way to Canton and driving home in the snowstorm we are supposed to get on Sunday. So that means all weekend to do crafty stuffs! :yay:

My weekend projects consist of teacher gifts (jars of homemade hot chocolate mix with chocolate-dipped spoons - never did find the mugs, so they'll have to use their own) and Christmas cards. Cards are coming along pretty nicely, and I think I have it to where I can bring my kit of stuff and work on them at my ILs while I stay there this week.
