Does wet just mean sauce on top? I heard your dad say something similar and that is not a phrase I am used to using

Yes, it's a burritto covered in a red sauce and shredded cheese melted on top. They are YUMMY!
And they are pretty easy to make. Maybe I'll make them when we go to the cabin.

Even when you're tired out at the end, it's a good tired after a day spent helping others. And I think it's great that the Scouts are learning how important it is to help those in need.
That's great too! Teaching them to do what they can do for others since others do for them. That's a great lesson too!

We are getting rain right now. And I don't know if that is a good thing or a bad thing. I'm sure it will probably freeze up tonight, which makes it worse than snow.

Well, Julia is also taking a very long nap which means she will probably be up all night, so feel free to drive up this way and hang out!

Re: Saturday...
I'm just enough north to expect snow (north of the I-69 corridor -- Lansing to Port Huron)
they are saying 7-10 inches for us by Monday morning.

Re: Saturday...
I wouldn't mind if I didn't have to go to school on Monday! If I could just stay home when it snowed I would be fine, but the fact that I have to leave the house it what makes it so awful!

That is why I decided to skip the trip I had planned to the east side of the state- I did not want to deal with driving in a blizzard or freezing rain!

Re: Saturday...
Im so jealous of all the snow. Its the main thing I miss about living up north. We had a super warm fall here (it was almost 70 on Thanksgiving) and it just got cold here. On the other hand its supposed to only be high of 20 by Monday.
Re: Saturday...
The snow finally just started here. Too late for Mason's party guests to sled in our backyard, unfortunately. This after rain ALL day, so it's likely pretty slick out there. I'm hoping all my little party guests make it home safely (and soon! lol)

Re: Saturday...
According to the map I just looked at, it's started as far east as Flint, which is just an hour away.

I've made them and lots of places here make them that way... just for some reason I never called it that. Really all mexican places here make wet burritos. Only fast food places make the dry ones. But I like both!
