3.10 Reusing your packaging
There are so many products out there that come wrapped in the cutest packaging! It might just be a marketing ploy to get us to buy those products, but there is no reason why you can't use all that great packaging on your projects!
Some cool packaging:
A lot of manu's are making packaging that would be great journaling cards as well!
Remember that when you buy paper pads, you can always cut up the front part too!
Some examples of reusing packaging:
The clouds on this layout of mine were punched out of Studio Calico package advertisement cards.
This is a layout by one of my favorite scrappers, Jen Jockisch. That yellow woodgrain on the right side is also Studio Calico packaging.

Such a great idea! I always save cool packaging and then forget to use it! Ill have to go through my stash and pull something out for the next layout I do.

Very cool....I agree, the packaging is fab now. I try to reuse anything that I can.

I totally save packing from everything! I had to chuck some of my stash because the boxes & stash got too big!

Ok, this is not the best card I've ever made and the scary part is it's not the worst either, LMAO!!!!!!!!!!! Ok I used the round housing that flowers came in and trimmed it down to create the bubble for the gumballs...........I wanted to use real gum balls and I couldn't find them anywhere this weekend....there must have been a conspiracy because I was on a scrap mission.........the buttons are ok though. Oh the stickles I used around the edge got a bit smeared so ignore that.....this was just my rough draft I hope tomake a cuter one next time and with better color choices for sure!
