What did you do today for YOU?? Empty What did you do today for YOU??

My new goal for myself is to do something for myself/my health everyday. I would love to know what you guys are doing as well.

Today I did Day 1 of Week 1 of my Couch to 5k program. And I actually enjoyed it. Running (really it was more wogging) is something I always thought I would hate and it kept me from ever starting, but today I enjoyed it. It was actually pretty peaceful.

Im exhausted so while this might not sound like it - what I am doing is going home after work. home to rest. home to try to still my mind. home to try to heal whatever it is that feels like its dragging me down.

today i didn't exercise, but i did print off a bunch of motivational sayings to encourage me.

the one i need to tape to my forehead is "you have to start in order to finish."

i can thank mara for this, i loved the saying she posted on pinterest this afternoon and it motivated me to motivate myself. i have a plan! Smile

Today was a cardiac rehab day for me so I did 20 minutes on a bike, 20 minutes on the treadmill and 20 minutes of weights.

I love that you have those goals, Kim, and congrats on your Day 1!

Yay! I am so excited that you all did something for your health today too! And Mara, mental health is very important. I am glad that you are going home to rest and get your mind back to where it needs to be.

Ha!! I skipped the gym so I cOuld clean my hOuse for my mil's arrival tomorrow! Ugh, must get back.

So I did not do anything really but...

I have been SO much better about taking my blood pressure meds the last several days. Today I almost missed it and remembered. I just need to go get it checked to see if taking my meds is working or not Very Happy

And I have been very diligent about taking my allergy meds and nasal spray.

I hate taking meds so this is a big thing for me Very Happy

That's good that you're doing better with that. I can relate to not taking meds. I hate them. But I'm now on 4 of them every day and the doctor is adamant about me not missing a dose. It's really almost a habit now. First thing in the morning...drink and meds....every day. For the rest of my life. What did you do today for YOU?? 976224

It is good that you are getting better about taking them. Do you have to take them at a certain time of day?
