Another prayer request, please?
For those who don't know me- I married into a huge close-knit family. My husband is one of 13 children. Our family has experienced several loses in recent months. We were dealt another blow yesterday when we were told that my husband's younger brother, who is only 47 and that I have known since he was 15, is not eligible for a lung transplant.
Rob began experiencing severe shortness of breath a few months ago and testing has shown that he has some type of fibrosis but they can't determine the cause. He had testing at the University of Michigan last week and was deemed ineligible for a lung transplant (which would only add a few years at best) because they found blockage in his arteries. He had one stent placed and one balloon angioplasty. They will not consider him for a lung transplant because his heart likely couldn't handle the surgery. He will try to get into the Cleveland Clinic for a second opinion but it doesn't look good. Prayers for Rob and the family to stay strong yet accept God's will in this matter would be greatly appreciated.
Remember: Tell those who you love that you love them and live each day as if it could be your last.

Aww cindy to you and your entire family. That is really tough news to get. I am sending prayers for strength and maybe a little bit of good luck thrown in for good measure
That still is very young to have life cut short.

So sorry to hear this, Cindy. I can't imagine going through everything your family has gone through in the last year.
