yes, the dome collapsed early this morning and they have to move the game to Detroit (why they don't just go to NY is weird) and they announced that if you have tickets for the game already you can go to Detroit and get "premium seating" otherwise they are giving all general admission tickets away for free

really who in Detroit is going to go see the Vikes VS Giants....they had to do something for a crowd

Still waiting for Tom to get back with the ink cartridge but, in the mean time, I've got the Christmas tree up!

PS- I'm waiting for Julia to come downstairs and see the pretty lights!

I know...I doubt people in MN are going to drive to MI just to deal with the same storm

you can't just show up at the field and get in. you have to stand in line at the box office that opens tomorrow morning at 9am to get them. Remember, unemployment is high in Detroit, thousands will have nothing to do but stand in line.

I'm now sitting in bed working on my take home exam. If anyone is wanting to brush up on your Reluctant Welfare State history, I am willing to give questions away! People think that take home exams are better, but I would much rather an in class exam! The questions aren't as detailed and there aren't as many!

Sara, as I Michigan resident I can tell you why they would go see someone else play...it will be the best game that has been played at Ford Field ever. Remember it is the home of the Lions.

Bree, my son went on a three week cruise wth my parents. They are docking for one day in Darwin which is 1900 miles away from Adelaide. So we are flying up tonight and spending one day with him and then flying back home. They finish their cruise a week later.

The weekend is coming to a close.....I have worked on my last homework for the semester....a little tweaking tomorrow night and my first semester is in the history books.
