How was your Holiday?

What did you do? Where did you go? What did you get?

We stayed home and had the inlaws over and ate to much and opened gifts and enjoyed each others company!

DH and I were not going to exchange gifts this year but the kids gave me gifts certificates to my lss and a fox racing hoodie! And I got junk food for my scrap room, lol.....just what I need. We decided this year not to do much for us and donated to needy kiddos instead. Also a dear friend of ours home burnt down a few weeks ago so we plan to take some of our xmas money we recieved from others and help them start over with ne house goods.

I stayed home, didn't get anything, and ate a couple of donuts... :sleep:

We had a wonderful day with just the three of us. Hung out in our pj's all day, opened too many presents and ate too many cookies.

Hey to each their own! with a family of 7 I cherish alone time!!

a nice time... stress free for a day or two...

We spent Christmas Day with my mom and brothers and family. lots of people, lots of food, lots of chatting, and lots of grandson holding time!

we had a great day
woke up about 7am, the kids opened presents then I made breakfast-eggs, bacon and cinnamon rolls, then the turkey went into the roaster to cook for about 3 hours, we ate lunch about 12:30 and then we watched Home Alone, I then took a hour nap, we then made a birthday cake for Jesus and while that was baking we made a gingerbread Christmas tree, we then ate leftovers for dinner
and at 8pm Todd and I went to see True Grit-great movie!

for gifts I got a Coach purse and matching wallet, a toaster/convection oven, boots, bath and body stuff and a flip camera

my holiday was nice. I made a big breakfast and then we started to open gifts..I got my Abercrombie perfume that I love, another Willow Tree figurine from my girl, a gift card to Victoria's Secret, love that store...some gift cards to iTunes and Starbucks, some Bath and Body Works stuff, candy and some framed pictures that I love!

We had a white Christmas (which we never have in TN). The girls were up at 6am wanting to open presents. I got lots of crafty goodness - 3 cricut cartridges, and ribbon, paper, punch, buttons and pretties kit from SU. I also got an amazing coffe maker - Cuisinart Kuerig single serve one. I haven't done any scrapping though because my oldest dd got Lego Harry Potter for the Wii and we have been playing it. Oh, and playing in the snow too!

We woke up and opened presents, I got a new coat and a hat and scarf to match. new slippers, and an awesome teal colored bass for Rock Band.

Then my parents and sister came over and we ate dinner and then opened presents with them. My parents bought us a luggage set, and my sister got us a cuisinart mini chopper and a whole bunch of board games. So they stayed till 3 in the morning playing games.

Then Jeff and I played Milles Bourne and fell asleep!

ooh, I love Milles Bourne! I haven't played it in years!!!!

We hung out at home, just the four of us. Best day ever! Lounged in our pj's all day. Had cinnamon buns for breakfast. Boys played with all their new stuff, I took a nap Everybody happy all day!

I love reading what everyone did!

I am slowly blogging what I did this year so I can have it in writing but overall a good Christmas. We are just hanging out today and plan to drive back to Atlanta tomorrow.

Been making cards all day and working on a NEW recipe book. Yes, the first one was so much fun I stared another one today with some cool OA pp.
Kids have been enjoying their gifts, and I'm glad.
No news to speak of--waiting to see if our flight north is canceled.

the kids slept past 8 but we opened presents, then it was very quiet as everyone went to go play with their new toys.

we've eaten too many cookies too. i'm going to mom's shortly for cofffee and cheesecake

Sounds like everyone really enjoyed Christmas!

We had a great start to the day, rough bump toward the end, then finished off strong. Overall, it was a great Christmas and Julia loved it!

We woke up and had presents with Julia, Lou and I first. Lou got me a new winter coat and jeans (a size smaller than what I was wearing and they fit very nicely! ) and Julia got me a book about getting my baby on a good sleep schedule.

Then we went down stairs and did gifts and breakfast with my parents and siblings. My parents got me a new deluxe strap for my camera, my sister got me a lapdesk with a light for my laptop, and my brother got me a "universal gift card good for all debts public and private" (better known as cash) to use for scrap stuff.

Then we went to Lou's sisters for Chirstmas with his side. Well, his mom was an hour late. Then his dad came over, saw his moms car was there, assumed her boyfriend was there too, and decided to leave!

So, after that fiasco, we came back home and played games with my family and then went to bed.

We had a nice relaxing Christmas! Tom, Kacie, and I did stockings then Kim's family and Jason's family joined us to exchange gifts and have Amy's Egg Bake and cinnamon rolls for brunch. Then the three of us hung out, relaxed, and napped during the afternoon while the older kids spent time with their in-laws. Then everyone gathered back here in the evening for games.
Tom and I scaled back our gifts to each other since we have the cruise coming up but he put that car window cleaning thing with the interesting handle, candy, a doll outfit, and cash for more doll stuff in my stocking and a pocket camera under the tree. Kim & Lou gave me a gift certificate to get a Shellac manicure before the cruise. Julia gave me a Starbucks card. Jason & Stephanie gave me a DVD I wanted and a miniature dress form for my doll house. Keira gave me a B&N gift card to buy Nook books. Kacie gave me a pink Wanda Wonder Frog doll that I picked out.

Rob was working, as Saturday is his regular workday. (no day off in the TV industry) Jeff forgot to invite me over for Christmas morning until it was too late...

I have a headcold so stayed away from my parents. I didn't want to share these germs with my Mom.

Sorry you're sick, Leslie, hope you beat the cold soon...

it was nice, but it's not over yet. The Christmas celebration with my family will be next weekend.

Christmas Eve afternoon my aunt and I went to visit my parents for a couple hours than went to church with them. After that I met my boyfriend at his uncle's house for a get together with his mom's extended family

Chirstmas Day I spent with my boyfriend. We went to visit his grandmother at the nursing home in the morning, spent all afternoon with his family. He gave me some money for scrapping supplies and a bottle of perfume, his mother gave me some slippers and money to go shopping for whatever I need
