Not totally sure I understand your question (no coffee yet lol) but the idea is to use a quilt design to inspire a project. I gave three ideas for ways to do that... make a quilt "pattern" from paper, use a mix of patterns on a page like how quilts do, or stitch around the shapes in the pattern of patterned paper like the last quilt.

If you can think of another interpretation that is inspired by a quilt that is fine!

title is cricut Makin the Grade (shadow) + CM metallic markers
AC ribbon and random buttons and flowers
and that is an index card with CM marker and distress ink

Here's mine. I didn't google quilt patterns, but used a mix of pp's and stitched what would have been seams on the quilt-think I've seen my Granny do a strip quilt like that. I also hand stitched around the title shape to make it appear "quilted". Fun challenge!
