Posting and E-Mail problem

I have gone into my preferences and clicked to not be notified by email when someone has replied to a thread that I have replied to, but I keep getting the e-mails. Am I doing something wrong?

before you did that in your profile, you posted in a thread. go to the bottom of THAT thread and click "unwatch" or whatever it says
