I'm at the museum today... hoping to get some candids without flash for my mini! It's foggy, so I'm expecting about 300 tourists today. Better busy than not!
Talking about Renaissance tapestries from the Vienna museum.

Good morning!
I'm a dork. I woke up, looked at the clock, saw 8:30, and thought "Gee, I slept late! I better get moving!". I got up, went potty, let the dog out, started the coffee, and looked at the clock in the kitchen. It read 6:58. That's what happens when you are old and blind and try to read the clock first thing in the morning.

Tuesday - all day!
I am not an early riser so I am always amazed when I get to start a daily thread
I am meeting with the Scout Executive of my Boy Scout Council to go over the proposed contract with the Port Huron Housing Commission (all fourteen pages of it - btw, it reads like we are going to build them a porch ) in just a bit. I met with my team last night. That is who I have dinner with every Monday night. I don't know if we will continue with "the project" in "The Projects" or not...

I'm at home, again, due to snow/ice. Thankfully still have power! I'll be organizing scrap crap and doing some other tidying around here as well as likely spending too much time online, LOL. Hope everyone is staying warm and safe. Have a good Tuesday!
Re: Topic: Tuesday
Buenos Dias!!!
We are snowed/iced in here in the ATL... I fear I'll be teaching well into June to make up these lost snow days. Doesn't look like it's going to melt any time soon, so who knows when the schools will open again; the cities aren't really equipped to clear this many roads, or really to clear roads at all. Snow like this is definitely out of the ordinary!
Today I'm going to try to straighten up around the house, possibly do some MORE school work (it never ends) and hopefully get some scrap time in. Maybe if I get my hiney in gear now (however unlikely that may be), I can accomplish some good stuff today!

You've gotta love my hubs right now -- the streets really are impassable, but our neighbor is a nurse, so he's going to tow her (in his Big Red Truck) to some clearer roads.
Re: Topic: Tuesday
So sorry about the project Leslie, hope there is someway to salvage it for you...
how're you feeling-feeling today? Yesterday you said you were off a little? You ok?
(sneaking to computer at work.... must get to lobby)

Good morning ladies!
Slept in far too late again because of our new "block the sun out even with your eyes held open with toothpicks and your nose pressed up against the glass" curtains!!!
Its still absolutely freezing here (for Florida anyways) so I wont be getting any of the yard work done I was hoping to!
Dinner is in the crock pot and I cant wait for the house to start smelling good! We will be having pulled pork sammiches using my secret recipe *Shhhh* and once I throw in a load of laundry I will be scrapping for the remaindure of the day! I need to get caught up on my Mojo Monday projects and work on a few things here and there.
What is everyone else doing today ?

Hi Everyone...
Snowed in but working from home. Which I hate doing honestly. My notes are in my office, my coworkers are there, etc. so its not really the same. I feel like I am supposed to work all day but when half of what I need is not so easily accessible its tough. Esp with the new year. Ordinarily I would have so much going on it would be easy enough but with the new year, some things had slowed down and a lot of what I NEED and WANT to do is planning related for the year which involves meetings and discussions.
So I hope we can go back to work tomorrow. But I guess I am being overly optimistic?

I merged the two teusday topics so we could keep it all straight
Another Atlanta gal snowed in. Ive got the first season of Nurse Jackie and lots of scrapping on the schedule today. Fortunately I ran out of laundry and dish detergent last night so no house work for me.

I am so jealous you can't really work from home! I have concepts to go work on when I am done with lunch
Re: Topic: Tuesday
yeah no real work for me since they can't forward the phones to my house thank god. And my boss is totally snowed in too.
I figure if they can't keep the interstates clear it maybe a while till they get to tiny side streets.

Re: Topic: Tuesday
It suks that you are working from home Bree! Better than risking your life, but not good that you don't feel like you are actually accomplishing what you need to.
I am babysitting today, so that means I have been up since 5:30am. So, I have already sent 3 kids to school, changed a completely poopy baby, gone to the grocery store, and worked on my Biology homework.
I have class tonight until 9. This class looks like I am really going to learn a lot. It's Social Problems. My class doesn't start until 6, but I have a babysitter starting at 4ish. So, I am going to go to the bookstore today since I couldn't wait in the line yesterday. And hopefully if I have time I will go check out the school gym.
