Wednesday Dinner...

What are you making?

We managed to get to the Super Target that is RIGHT BY my house (no joking... its so close people walk even when there is no snow) and I am making turkey chili. The shelves were rather picked over so I feel lucky they had everything I needed. Just barely!

I made spaghetti sauce with sausage and meatballs on Monday, so that's what's coming out of the fridge tonight. Over some fettucine with what I can salvage of a salad. Maybe bread -- though I haven't run because of my stupid lungs -- so maybe we will forego the bread.

probably some soup or something buried in my freezer. Truth be told I haven't given it much thought yet as I just had my first meal of the day like an hour ago. lol

your choice of sketti or ham...

and I made an awesome cheesecake for dessert, and now my son is giving me a hard time--he's having carrots and celery sticks "do you know how much processed sugar is in that cheesecake, MOM?"

Um I'm in the same boat as Mara...idk. something that isnt gonna make my stomach die....so that rules out just about everything...fun.

My chili is started. I really prefer BEEF chili or this veggie chili I love but DH is not eating beef and the veggie chili takes a lot more ingredients and more chopping so I am trying to do regular chili with the super lean turkey they had left at Super Target. I hope I like it okay. I am really not such a huge turkey fan.

I'm thinking pizza sounds good. Julia is being super clingy today and Keira is still here so I haven't even thought about dinner.

No idea! I am on the campus that has a really nice deli/cafe area, only to find out that it is only open until 1:30! Really?!? They serve mostly soups/sandwiches and healthy snacks, so I can see where it would be considered lunch food, but I am sad!

Aw, that makes me miss her and want to be home even more! You are not allowed to say that Julia is having a bad day!

I HATED THAT! My favorite place on the one campus was only open til like 2pm and it was like no! I want awesome soup for dinner.

The thing is, I am sitting in the area where the cafe is, it's just closed. So on top of wanting good food for dinner, I can also see the menu board hanging on the wall!

A friend is making sloppy joes for dinner and we are invited to join a group dinner! I made a pasta salad and a tomato salad to share!

Is there a hospital on campus? When I was at Vanderbilt, I'd eat at the hospital cafeteria because a) always open and b) lots of choices.

We had a pasta bake. Kids moaned and groaned but ate it finally.

i want chinese food, badly. since we are snowed in we are having grilled cheese and tomato soup.

Pizza was a no go. Tom made Hamburger Helper stroganoff. Good thing that stuff tastes better than it looks!
