Hi Alecia.

Just got home from shopping. Thursday nights is late night shopping so the shops are open till 9pm. I hate going then cos there's stacks of people but decided that if we go today hubby can help me with the kids and we can grab a quick bite to eat. Forgot hubby is like a big kid so it was like shopping with three kids and now I am totally knackered.

Morning girls! It is all I can do to keep my eyes open this morning! I have three kids off to school and one still sleeping in her car seat. I got Julia in her snowsuit and bundled in her car seat, drove to Lou's cousins house, brought her in, got the girls ready for school, drove them all to school, and came back in the house and Julia just snored through it all!

Tonight is Spanish 101. It's my long class. From 5:45 to 10. Ewwww!

Liz, shopping with my DH is like going with a kid too! I try to shop without him. And if it involves clothes shopping, he would much rather I go without him anyway!

I have been cleaning all day. My house is looking really nice. Our new live in arrives in 1 1/2 hours. I wish my room looked the way the rest of the house looks. I have detail cleaned almost everything. I am talking closets, cupboards, re-arranged furniture in every room of my house. Every room except mine. I think I will start that next week after I rest from doing so much.

Hi Tam! Is your guest there yet? Oh, and I was thinking about how long he is staying. What if Gardner gets a job here, does he have some one else he could stay with?

His plane gets in at 3:30. It is 2:15 right now. So soon he will arrive.

If Gardner gets a job, I am not sure the kids and I will go right away. I am thinking I might stay here and have them finish out the school year. Or, I should re-phrase that. Until the beginning of June. School gets out the end of July here. It will all depend on what he gets and where it is and when they want him.

Also, if we do end up moving, we have some friends that I am sure will take him in. There are plenty of people from Church that would take him in if we ended up leaving as well. We have not worried about it yet, since it is so hypethetical at this point.

He is supposed to stay for 4 months.

Ahh, I don't know why but for some reason I thought he was there for a year. I would need 4 months to be ready to move that far if I found out today!

For those of you that are SAHM's there are many days that I don't know how you do it! Some days I think DH is under the impression that I just sit home all day waiting on him to ask me to do things! :pullhair:

Nope, I'm working on a 5:00 deadline today for the publisher. Gotta keep the coffee running into my veins so I can get it all done!

Ok, so I just watched a Lifetime movie this morning and now I'm sitting here crying! Why did I start my morning this way?!?

Lifetime first thing in the morning? Not sure my emotions would be up to that. lol

I just got done w/ a two grant-writing meeting. Now I am off to the office to pull data and crunch numbers for a meeting on Monday.

checking in to say I made it to work and its DEAD. I am glad a few others made it in after me. I was the first person here on my floor. Its crazy.

My drive was not that bad, but some people's neighborhoods are still a mess. I am lucky my neighborhood is small so less chance for ice patches. I just had one super nasty one by my entrance and thought I might get stuck but didn't

BUT the radio was playing clips from the Obama speech about the shootings and I was crying while driving on ice! NOT a good thing!

I tried and failed to get out of my driveway today We don't have a shovel so I cleared it as much as I could yesterday with a metal garden rake (which worked really well for getting most of the ice off) But there are a couple of patches I cant scrape down to the pavement so Im stuck.

I am so totally stir crazy its not even funny. I may walk to the Mexican grocery store just to get out of the house.
