Kind of dark and gloomy here. once I get ds a haircut, I can scrap today.

the sun is breaking through this side of FL
its supposed to be in the 60's today
it rained all day yesterday-we went to the Kennedy Space Center-it was AWESOME!
today we are hanging by the pool, maybe go down to the beach
they have craft time for the kids and free movies-lots to do here

its funny-I always tell Bowser "I'M SENDING YOU TO THE MOON" so yesterday I got him a NASA dog tag with his name on it

Quick check in with my coffee. I will be out of the house all day. Kim and I get haircuts this morning then Tom and I will head to an SCA Winter Revel.

Tonya, have fun with the fam, and stay indoors, cheeze, it's cold there.
Sara, it's warmer on "your side" of FL than on mine, and I'm glad for you.

Having my coffee now, was out late at my lss.....we made these darling little dress and apron shaped mini cook book albums. Not done yet just got front and backs done last night, maybe I'll post it later.

Weather is crappey here rain and snow back and forth....only have 3 of my kids 2 went to sleep overs so it's kinda quiet here still.

We have company coming tonight, I make dinner every Sat for our lil group of friends....starting to think I must be the only one who knows how to cook, lol. Before they get here I need to just to a quick tidy up, shower and get ready, I probably should fold my laundry I got the latest Twilight movie I can watch while I do that....but then I probably have not much time to scrap.....boo.

I wish I had all that fun stuff for my kids, we live in a super small farming community.....boring as heck in the winter...well unless you enjoy your eyeballs freezing open when you go outside! The summer has more to offer but not much more. And NOTHING is free.

We stay pretty busy though in the summer with motocross and racing.

Yes it is.....it's darling. I don't have it binded or anything yet, but I'll photo the front and back cover and the sheets I plan on using for the inside and post it just for you!

Ok I still have filing, inking and adhering to do. The front has real lace that goes around the bottom of the dress and apron in a scaolloped shape also around the neck. Then in the front pocket theres little utensil embellies that will go in it and stick out of the top. The front and the back are matching pp and the inside is that plain cs.

Inside the actual book when we get there the dress is not scalloped but straight as it's slitly shorter than the front and back covers. We will use all differet kinds of borger punches to create the lace at the bottom of these drese....it looks amazing! But uses a whole whopping 36 peices of paper! YIKES! The recipe card goes on the inside and theres lots of charms and stamps ect to embellish with, and the top of the flipside is plain cs so you can journal or add pics if you so choose. When it's all done it's binder with the zutter I believe

Unlike other's who made the book I don't have old recipes for mine so I'm opting to let each kid pick their fav homemade item I cook and DH and I will use ours as well and it will be a family fav recipe album.

Morning ladies! I finished my coffee a little bit ago... just one cup because I am out of cream! Now I will continue diet planning and grocery list writing that I started last night. On Monday I start the Cinch! diet and my workout routine... Here goes nothing! I am SO excited about this Cinch method because it is more a healthy way of eating than a starve yourself thin diet. The best parts!? You dont have to give up coffee, chocolate is mandatory and you can lose up to 8 lbs in the first 5 days!!!

After I am done with all that jazz I will hang out in my crafty space for the rest of the day. The Hubbums left yesterday for his 3+ week TDY so I have a lot of alone time ahead of my to fill!

Ohhh that mini will be so sweet!

I'm up. We're going to visit Jeff aunts' house in a little while for dinner and games. They are two of my favorite people!

Just some relaxing until then. Jeffrey wants to make blueberry muffins, we'll see. I just want a nap I think.

While Kim and I were getting our haircuts the snow was flyin and the roads got yucky so Tom and I decided not to go the Revel.
On the good side I can work on a sewing project this afternoon.
