Where should I go for a long weekend?

ok ladies i have a $200 travel voucher I need to use before 4/15. I would love to fly somewhere for a long weekend (Ill be by myself so lots of time for sightseeing).

Now I just need to decide where to go. Some choices New Orleans, New York, maybe somewhere out west since Ive never really traveled out there (like yellowstone maybe?)

Anyone have any suggestions on where I should take my mini trip?

NYC or Philly. and we could have dinner. but I'm biased

DC would be fantastic for sightseeing;

I was thinking of all 3 cities. NY has the added bonus of I could meet my doll people too. Philly I could stay at my moms and then meet you for dinner and DC is just nice (Ive only been there 2x years ago)

It's hard to beat the Philly/NYC combo....

I think NY is a great option. But I will add, that if you are an outdoorsy person, Yellowstone would be great. But, in winter/spring, it could be COLD and SNOWY. Brrrr.

There are so many places that you could go for a mini weekend! It would depend on what you would like to see or do! Architecture, museums, food, people watching! wow good luck picking!

Yellowstone bored the heck out of me! I guess it could have been I had 4 kids under the age of 5 with me at the time one being 2 weeks old BUT nonetheless I ABSOLUTELY HATED IT!!!!

You may like it, but it was super boring to me!

Have you been to Colorado? Lots to do there. Estes Park Colorado is way better than Yellowstone imo.

Grand.Canyon. That's what I would pick.

If you decide to go to NYC, I'd go on the March/April end, though. NYC in February is C.O.L.D.

ooooooooooooOOOH! or Chicago... the architecture there is amazing -- museums, city life, different sections of town, waterfront. VERY cool!

Or OR OR!!! San Francisco. Aaaahhhh. That would be my second choice.

In order:
1. Grand Canyon
2. San Francisco
3. Chicago
4. NYC

Siesta Key is always nice.... you can swim at the beach all year long...

I second San Francisco!! It's got to be my favorite city in US.

Seattle is fun....lots to see and do, from Pike Street, Space Needle, Nordstrom.

How about Arizona...maybe Sedonna? I've also heard fantastic things about Taos, NM. Real artsy town, and you are an artsy person. That could be perfect.

Oh....I know! Vegas......NOT!!!!!!!!!!!!

HAHA I love Vegas! But maybe not alone....that would be kinda weird.

Being stranded an extra 5 days in Vegas has maybe shaded my attitude about the place, at least for a while!

You gotta know....Mara is a pale red head who could NEVER survive 4 days at a beach. She doesn't do "sun" at all...

I say Grand Rapids, MI. I hear there are some great people there that love visitors!

Or Chicago would be wonderful! (That's because I could come visit you there!)

I did I am going to go to NY to sightsee and meet up with some doll people. And stay with my mom to save on hotel costs
