Good morning!

Last day of the weekend.... what's on your agenda?

There is a forest fire south of us, and the fog and smoke are so thick they have closed down I75. We live east of 75, so this means we can only head north to Tampa, can't get to the beaches or downtown today. Traffic too backed up.
I wonder where the fire is exactly? The smoke is really yellow.
I plan on scrapping all day and taking care of sick kids.

my goal is to do nothing today. so far, so good.

The fog is lifting, but it's still tres smoky... I can hear traffic on 75 now (we are 2 miles away but the sound still carries) but I also hear lots and lots of sirens. The smoke smell is not as bad as it was earlier.
The year we commuted weekly across the everglades, 2007ish?, we would have to drive through fires all the time. Scary.

Wow. I hope the fire isn't too serious!

My plan for today is to lounge in the sun and drink a few chocolate martinis.

Wow that sucks. I was once in Orlando when the fires were super bad. It wass actually harder to breathe outside. I think staying inside and scrapping and tending to kiddos is the perfect plan)

That sounds ideal. Though I guess I shouldn't complain its going to be almost 70 here today. But no chocolate martinis for me

I was supposed to have company last night but his flight got delayed so Im sure we will wind up doing something later today.

Ive got Zumba today at 12 with my favorite instructor so I am dressed and ready to go!

Wow that fire sounds like serious stuff! I have never witnessed an actual forest fire of any kind thank goodness but the military does do a lot of planned burning of the land around here to keep it at a safe state incase there ever was a fire.

I am not sure what I will be up to today. My LSS is having a 3 hr class with Lance Anderson, the owner of the Rusty pickle scrapbook line and idk if I am going to go or not. It was announced last min so I think that not a lot of ppl had time to plan it into their Sundays? I think I will call and find things out.

WHat's Lance doing now that Rusty Pickle is no more?

Im really not sure.... running around giving classes it seems ! lol I tried calling to find out what time its at and if there is still room but nobody is picking up

I hope to be creative today. I had plans to yesterday, but they were hijacked by DH. I can't complain too much as he usually lets me have whatever free time I want on the weekends. So, now I'm in my studio and peeking in on a few forums, looking at all the exciting stuff being posted about CHA, and trying to figure out what I'm going to work on today.

I need to make a few cards and come up with some new class descriptions for my LSS.

I guess I'd better find some good music or a scrappy friend on Skype and get busy.

I'm still on track for nothing.
i do have to pack later. maybe after a nap,
i'm exhausted from all this nothing.

I had breakfast alone for lunch. At star bucks right now. Getting ready to read my new book. It will make the fourth book in four days

Oh cha stuff is fun but i try not get too sucked into all those cool photo threads from CHA or i never get to scrapping.

I took a class with Lance and his wife once...they creeped me out to no end. In all seriousness. It was really strange. I felt like I walked into a conference set up to convert people to evangelical christianity.

But aside from that, lol.

I am gonna do whatever I want today

We might go out to this amazing french restaurant later, and watch the pro bowl!

Bahahahahahaha Yeah I will not be going. It seems like the class was thrown together very last minute and I still cant get ahold of anyone so Im pretty much saying screw it.

It was totally strange. The book we made was full of bible verses, and they gave out all their prizes to pregnant women, as long as they were married...I was really not understanding what was going on at the time...

It was the strangest experience I've ever had at one of those things (it was one of the big CK Conventions with a bunch of classes) And there were some really strange classes I've taken at them. Crazyness.
