Inclement Weather...

snow drifts next to my house are 7ft high! drifts around the yard are roughly 4ft! driveway was over 3ft deep! No school tomorrow too! kids are loving this!

It's just too depressing to photograph.

No school for me or the boys tomorrow, either. Not entirely sure why. My whole block is completely clear - road and sidewalks. I guess it's pretty bad in the city, though.

Guess thats a good thing in case you have to run out for emergency milk or stuff.

Kris went out tonight for a new wireless router since our old one won't work with the new computer we just got. I was tempted to pack up the boys and go with him because I was curious how it looks out there!

I guess the story with the schools is that they're having trouble clearing the parking lots since the snow had to be transported elsewhere and many of the buses are still buried in snowdrifts. Not sure what's happening downtown, exactly.

Wow, you braved the snow?!? The farthest I have been is on the enclosed porch to get meat out of the freezer!

I didn't go too far, just to the curb AFTER Kris had dug a path for me

Wow Laura!!! That's a whole freakin' lot of snow!!! We just have lots of Ice here and rolling blackouts because of it. Tons of fun.

The last one is the county plow that got stuck just past our house.

We wound up only getting rain/ice. it was fantastic.

will be uploading mine soon. Took one last pic last night of a front-end loader clearing out the 3ft deep cul-de-sac. Snow piles are probably 10ft! None of those folks could get out of their driveways!

We have another day off here because the city is still working on clearing off all of the side streets.
