February Crop - 9 AM Challenge "Love Me Some Music"

I love music and have so many favorite artists. I bet you do to!
For this challenge, use the album or CD cover of a band/artist you as graphic inspiration for a project (layout, mini, etc).

My inspiration came from "Best of the Corrs." CD cover. I love this Irish group of musicians!


I found lots of graphic inspiration from the CD cover for my layout:


~ I started with 12x12 kraft paper & crackle paint to create the background of the layout to mimic background design of the album cover.
~ I used the album's photo design as inspiration for photo design on my layout, including the white matting.
~ I used the simple title and title lettering as inspiration for my title and title work.

While I found lots of different stuff on this cover to use for graphic inspiration, the challenge is for you to find at least one thing that appeals to you & use it for graphic inspiration...color, design, photo placement, titlework, etc.

I use to have some stilts when I was younger. I wonder if I have any pictures of that? I hate that all my childhood pictures are in Dallas with my mom.
